Did it ever occur to anyone that the fact that Bliss Stage was restored shows that there was something wrong with the process that deleted it? The fact that the creator was willing to post on the thread was pretty much what reversed everyone's decisions. If this had been a Japanese work where the creator doesn't speak English, it would have stayed deleted based on misconceptions—and there would have been no way to correct those misconceptions that the review board would be willing to listen to, just like there was nobody the review board was willing to listen to here before the creator stepped in.

If a work only gets restored based on lucky circumstances, that calls into question all the decisions that might have been as incorrect but didn't get any lucky circumstances.

I'm not trying to sound snippy when I say this, but what other process can we use? A track record of two misjudged works (Bliss Stage and the Monster Girl Encyclopedia) out of at least a thousand flags is a pretty good track record.

Creator of the tabletop didn't post anywhere. Promoted Fanboy Tsundere Lightning, in charge of making the VN adaptation did - and he was needed because the VN isn't out yet, he's the only one here with data about it. Even then I think P5 was leaning towards "leave it be until released".
With the original tabletop, they just needed people who actually in-depth played it.

Also, Bliss Stage got cut at a weird time. Martello did the original devil, and Komodin added the second due to incomplete information. Then when Martello ragequit, Eddie filled in for him for a little while—including adding a third devil to Bliss Stage.

Eddie didn't fill in for Martello. Bliss Stage was resolved before Martello left.

No...I'm pretty sure it wasn't. Bliss Stage was cut at the same time as a number of others that were resolved to keep, like Ikki Tousen and such, which was a miscommunication with Eddie. Most of them were restored, but Bliss Stage and that Digimon doujin were not.

I disagree with the bolded assertion in particular, primarily because Shadis, Nine The Puma, Kuro and Night were all doing a good job of convincing me to take another look at my decision before the creator of the visual novel showed up... this was why I was asking for more in depth explanations of certain rules in the thread for it.

Is our process flawed? Of course, because there's a human element to it, and human's are bound to make mistakes. This process, however, at least has the benefit of having five people making the decisions based on information provided to them by a group of people dedicated to assisting with the process, versus just one person making the decisions to cut based on hollers as was previously happening.

I'll be the first to admit when I feel I've made a mistake. We allow re-review's because we know we can make mistakes. However, I don't think it's unfair to ask for a cooling off period before a work is immediately re-reviewed, as we asked for with Bliss Stage.

Eddie has not filled in for Martello. The decision to cut Bliss Stage was reached a while back, but it was executed later, along with the some things that actually had angels. Bliss Stage already has three devil-heads. The voting was closed before Martello left. The page just wasn't cut at the time.

Here. A post from May 9th referring to the (already reached) decision to cut Bliss Stage. The voting tool shows the date as May 4th. So, this had nothing to do with Eddie. He just executed what he saw in the queue. Martello's post confirms it.

Ah, apologies then. My mistake.

Still, it was a weird situation either way, what with Martello shouting "pedoshit" every time someone tried to defend it.

I concur that the decision was made on poor information and a rather heated time, along with some derails about how to treat rape (and let's not start those again). We are working smoothly now, though.

tdgoodrich: Catalogue hasn't posted since June 9th, actually. I hate to make an issue of it again but at this point I don't really think it matters if he has real life issues that he warned us about beforehand. He's been gone for over a month and before that had similar long bouts of inactivity. So far as I know he didn't tell anyone when he would be back either.

June 9th? Jeez.

Darling is Hentai (or should I say porn?). Sure, it has A story too, but far from enough to save it.

For the record, I have watched Darling in the past.

I added the third angel to restore Sundome. The content in some cases is borderline but not enough to be considered primarily porn, and the characters seem old enough to not be pedophile pandering.

Adding a third angel for VisualNovel.Animamundi Dark Alchemist. It seems pretty fucked up (à la Hostel) but not porn or pedo-pandering.
