As a reason, "I changed my mind" seems to go against the goal of determining whether something is primarily pornographic or meant to pander to pedophiles.

Thirded. But more because it seems that the reason the "I changed my mind" decision was made solely because it was just being compared to the other games in the series, rather then when it was decided on its own merits/sins whether it was pornographic/pedo-pandering before.

Okay, perhaps I was being a little hasty about pulling a 180 and wanting to just cut Sengoku Rance, but really, I just want to move on to other stuff that doesn't make me want to punch my screen. Is that specific work any worse than the other games in the series?

From what I've seen and heard, no.

I can't speak for any games in the Rance series apart from the first third of Rance 2, but I'd say it was better about having a real plot and gameplay than that one was. The second game is basically "Evil chicks causing trouble underground with magic rings. The rings only work on virgins, so go fix that" while the Sengoku Rance has by this point established the series, so while Rance is undeniably at least a huge asshole, there's a real story to move the plot, no pedo stuff and an awful lot of gameplay.

Well, I think that the works should only be judged on two criteria: "Is it mostly pornographic smut?" and "Does it have pedophilic material?"

I don't think anything like rape or incest or whatever should factor in.

If Rance does indeed pass on those two points, then I'd have to disagree with cutting it.

Not to mention, the pedo material was Rance raping an apparently adult woman.

The pedo material was Rance raping a magically aged up little girl and, when he found out she was magically aged up, he was shocked and horrified about it.

You know, at this point, I'm really starting to get sick and tired of Rance...

This stuff'll usually happen when things like this come up. Perhaps it could be moved and kept to the current Rance discussion only? As in give them a break from it, people. They'll make a decision in their own time.

FanFic.The Mating Frenzy: Has 2 votes both ways. According to our page, it's a Naruto comedy fanfic about sex.

Manga.Sensitive Pornograph: Has 2 devil votes and 1 angel vote. It's an explicit yaoi manga. Tdgoodrich 1 read it and said it's basically just porn and suggested cutting it.

FanFic.The Spiderses: Has 2 devil votes and 1 angel vote. It's a My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fanfic that involves a couple characters turning into spiders and then having sex. It's apparently not at all explicit, just dumb.

VisualNovel.Atlach Nacha: Has 1 angel vote. I read a few hours of it and gave a couple write-ups in its thread.

I read Tales of MU once upon a time. Got to the part in the plot where the main character is possessed by a magic scythe and orders an entire human body for dinner off the internet.

Mating Frenzy I read through and found to be clean. It's comedic, but not really expplicit at all.

Don't blame you Komodin. What a 'fun' series, huh?

Man, I tried going through the content violations to find something harmless for you to look at but I've already defended most of the harmless stuff that I know of recently!

Out of curiousity, how comes the "making sure Kagami Snuggling With Onions is safe enough to keep the roleplay up"?

tdgoodrich1 and I saw the first 200 pages and decided that there was too much paedo content in them to keep it. As far as I can tell, the last week's worth of posts seems to be a 2-player Yuri (?) party with nothing really explicit, but I suppose that if they want to continue they can take it somewhere else. lu's locked the thread temporarily.
