I have and I'm just trying to introduce a concept here: the idea that it's OK to let your freak flag fly when you are alone or when you are among your own, but when you are in a context where you are being observed by outsiders, to be aware of what you look like. Of course, you can still choose to let your freak flag fly (which is why I've mentioned my experience in slash fandoms etcetera) but saving face is important too.
And I do apologize for the Asperger's comparison: I meant "sperging" as in to refer to ranting on and on about a topic that makes one look bad. Is there a better term for that that doesn't insult autistics/aspies?

because unless you can find a dictionary definition of sperging it seems the word means in this context something like "ranting while autistic".

Gorn: gore+PORN I can see the fast ones logic. That's not what gorn is. Gorn is overly detailed violence. Gore + porn is actually guro.
And yes, I do think we should bring back Naughty Tentaclesin in some form. Keeping it locked is fine. Quite separate from the pornographic elements, Naughty Tentacles is frequently parodied.

Well, that's the page that triggered this incident in the first place, I can see why he doesn't want it back.
I don't mind renaming it and locking it, but it's gone for the sake of the person who reported this website, amongst others. It will never come back.

Maybe we could name the trope Naughty Tentacles Parody? Or are we trying to avoid the name Naughty Tentacles altogether? I would still support the idea of having "parody" in the trope name, so that we were clear about what type of examples we were looking for.

What's the deal with Mother Daughter Threesome? It was cut already and I'm not seeing how this could be anything but a porn trope, but I'm willing to hear arguments to the contrary.

^^^ I believe at least one of the arguments is that it can be used as a standard male fantasy without the slightest bit of explicit content. We were linked the old contents of the page earlier and while there were a lot of porn examples, there were still a fair number of legit ones as well where it was played for comedy or somesuch.

We went through most of the examples and most of them weren't actually porn, but would really work better as Mother Daughter Love Triangle since most of them didn't involve one person doing them both at the same time.

@A Groupie Derailing a bit here, but you've been in slash fandoms right? And they have the theory of Your Kink Is Not My Kink And That's Okay to make it easier on everyone. Do you reckon it could be a bit difficult to go from that (not gushing, just liking this kinda stuff) to "please be sane and normal"?
