Ironically, the Turks are the worst civilization to play as in Age of Empires II.

Well it's not that the Turks are underpowered; they just have a Crippling Overspecialization. They have too much of a reliance on gold and gunpowder, so they only get to show any real coolness in the Imperial Age.
My favorite was a tossup between the Byzantines and the Spanish.
