What is the point of this page?
There is no narrative significance to this pattern, and it isn't even a real pattern beyond "these guys are reptiles and good guys." Some of the listed characters aren't even reptiles; Crimson Viper and Solid Snake are listed, even though their names more likely have to do with them being sneaky spies. It's equivalent to having "Heroically Aligned Pig" in that there is no connection between being reptilian and being good (Like there is in Reptiles Are Abhorrent
), and it's just a list of heroic hogs.
The description doesn't establish anything, since the mythological importance is not reflected in the examples (Nor is it a modern day trope other than Snakes Are Sexy
). It doesn't even work as a surprise inversion of Reptiles are Abhorrent, since many of the animals were specifically stated as being exceptions on that page.
I propose cut, because I can't even think of a trope this could be modified into.
