Suggestion: Amazingly Embarrassing Parents

Found one I think might work. Only problem is that its a bit on the text-heavy side. How do the last two or three panels of this Misfile strip look?

Hm, Questionable Content has some good examples on that (particularly Marten's mother).

Dammit, that would be beyond perfect, but QC's panels are a bit too wide.

Here's the comic in question. Even cropping off everything to the left of Miss Reed would be too wide. But if someone has an idea to make it work, I'm all ears (and here's the previous comic, for the "Who wants to see baby pictures" part).

That last comic still cracks me up and I've read it at least half a dozen times. Any of those would be good, but the two paneler where Marten's hugging his mom and the first panel of the last one are best.

Here's 4.4 at 350 px...I saved it as a JPG, that may have hurt the text too much.

EDIT: Tried it as a PNG (the second one), that didn't help much.

It would be nice to include the image where Marten facepalms. I think it's ok if you can't quite read what mom is saying as long as his embarassment is clear.

That's pretty good, but there's something about that last sentence that's bugging me.

"-a baby"? That could go into the caption

I was kind of stuck about how to do that bit. Would "and" work better than "as"? I don't think I'm able to fit "baby" in.

Could you just use the text from the original bubble, but in a slightly bigger point size? The bubble looks like there's enough space to work with...

Also, TBH, the facepalm is good but the expression in the original panel seems to fit her comment better.
