Sticky, please?
New here? Or a regular poster here who is searching for forum games that are actually good? Perhaps looking for new ones that show some promise but can't find any? Then this is the place to be.
The purpose of this thread is for troper forum gamers to recommend forum games to other posters that ask (like a sub-forum library of some sort), or to recommend your latest created forum game.
When posting recommendations, it is preferable that you link the name of the forum game to its thread, along with a description of what the forum game is about.
Forum game rules still apply here.
FORUM GAME RECS
Our Avatars Are Posting In A Forum Thread: What if your avatar was part of a forum thread? This is the result.
Our avatars have been genderflipped: Same as above, but applied to your avatars.
Corrupt-A-Wish: One person makes a wish, the other grants and corrupts it, then makes a wish etc.
1000 bad reasons to declare war: Self-explanatory.
Bad ideas for forum games v2: Thread topic ideas that are likely to get you banned or shunned.
1000 things we've learned from video games: Just started by me, a humorous look at things video games teach us.
Happy recommending and happy forum gaming!

Ready, Aim, Fire! One of the more chaotic ones. In short, people shoot each other, the air, and themselves (the last one being the most complicated, see linked page for specifics). The goal is simple: outlast everyone else, which is easier said than done. What I like about it is that some of the actions can lead to some pretty hilarious results.
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot. Sword of Queen's Faith. It's a (Magical Girl-themed) Quest-style game, which I feel this forum has had too few of lately.
Now long dead.

"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."One of my attempts for a collaborative fiction
Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all. Here's my attempt at making a game:
What type of Anti-Villain would the above avatar be?
My AO3. Results may varyI know that you're supposed to link an active topic but I just want to know if this would make a good game:
Authors post a paragraph of their story and then the person below it trys to see if they can spot a troupe in it. If a person doesn't have a story then they just post a paragraph from a favorite book. Sound fun?
This website is sticky. Seriously, it's stuck to my browser.Throw Something at the Next Poster!
Based on a forum game played on many other forums, but relatively new for TV Tropes.
...ehehAlright, I know that this isn't a game, but we now have a Forum Games Skype chat up.
PM me if you wish to join =)

...ehehthis is an awesome play by post game where we fight each other in the real world. The GM determines what our actions do and some of us never even see each other, but it is fun!

My game. I reckon it's gonna be a big oneI'm terribly sorry to post in here but I am most curious, is there any sort of forum games discussion thread or general chat thread on these forums? Many users of this subforum seem to know each other very well and such a thing seems like it may lead to many pleasant conversations.
I am sorry for posting in here and I am aware that if such a thread exists my presence in it would be very much unwanted.
There are several in Yack Fest, and each one is kind of their own clique, so watch out for that.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistI see, are any of them a universal thread for this subforum?
Nope. Just go ahead and try to meet as many people as possible.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistOh I see, thank you very much for the information!
I made these threads so warning: shameless self promotion.
The most generic flamewar: [Trope Name] is used to make a mock Flame War.
We are background characters: We RP background characters from various media for the purpose of Lampshade Hanging.
Where are the vowels?: Remove the vowels from your post for the next poster to decode.
Telephone Musical Game- Also made by , this game involves coming up with a situation for the music the last poster presented you (a la "assign a situation to the above music"), then posting another song that could work for the situation you came up with.
It's only recently started (as of posting this rec), but it seems interesting enough.
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.Stranded: Troper Edition Simply put, It Needs More Love. Basically, you're stranded. Lots of weird stuff happens. Oh, and at the moment, we're stuck in a time paradox and one of the castaways are looking for goats. Don't worry, thanks to the nature of the location, you can branch off and connect later, and it's really easy to catch up. If you wanna join, just jump in! No signups required!
Anyone wanna play Anna Vampire Resurrection?!Well, as slightly narcissistic as it may seem, the sequel to the "best selling" forum game that I was running for a bit over a year has just started.
Anyone interested in joining Destroy the Godmodder, tvtropes edition 2 should go ahead and jump right in.
Some knowledge of the tvtropes pantheon may or may not prove to be useful.
DTG Co Labs I can haz youtubes?Well I hate to be narcissistic and tooting my own horn when it comes to the forum game I am keeping track on since the opening post but the continue the story game "Super Smash Bros: The Animated Series" have been going on for like what, a few days since launching in syndication? Is it doing well? Well, whaddya think? But in any case, if it existed, then DreamWorksAnimation would be the studio to helm the Prime Time Animated Series with a Per Episode Budget of 4 Million Dollars.
But in all seriousness I'm just glad that we have bright minds in this community to keep the show going and although I may not be the best, the show is really cooking. If the show gets really popular then all of you have my permission to create competing crossover series based off of the other console manufacturers, figure gaming toy lines, and even digital distributors. Seriously, Join the fun of this series!

Lately, a number of tropers have been playing "Ask the next Avatar a question" incorrectly, as they are having their own avatars pose the questions. The tropers themselves should be the ones posing the questions, not the avatars.
As such, I have created "Your Avatar asks the next Avatar a question" for those who want to do so.
...ehehI'm not sure what the place for this post is, but...
Does anyone else remember Sticks, Stones and Things Unknown? Or its unofficial sequel? I would very much like to see a third one of these, or run one myself if anyone is interested.
"Doki Doki Lit. Club" is a happy game where nothing bad happens. seriously tho? not for the faint of heart.Just prepare an introductory post for it. I'd be willing to play.
The ink flows into a dark puddle, just move your hand- write the way into his heartMore shameless self promotion.
I run a forum adventure. It's based on this worldbuilding thread (reading through and watchlisting both is strongly recommended if you like the concept). I'm currently writing an update that'll probably be up by monday, so no further commands are needed at this point, but after that update's up commands for the next will be appreciated. I'm not very good at writing (drawing is more my thing), I run it to get better at prose and dialogue so if you notice some awkward wording or wooden dialogue that's the reason.
You Have Become Your Avatar. I like it because you are forcibly transformed into your avatar.
