"Shake the dust." - Anis Mojgani...I've seen a number around the place, but I'm not sure if they'll pop by. Who knows?

The road goes ever on. -TolkienWell, yes. But hearing me talk you'd think I was American.
Yes, this actually happens. My Primary and Secondary School classmates hear me talk and they ask me if I'm from America. XD
That and my Chinese sucks. TT_TT

"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiI'm Chinese, too. And sometimes I still slip into American English, even though I was born here and have lived in Australia since I was six, when my family came back.
The road goes ever on. -TolkienYeah, but with me, American English is pretty much my default language and accent. Apparently it's because my parents taught me English as a kid with a lot of CD's and stuff from America.
That, and I watched a crap-ton of cartoons growing up, so.....
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiI know the feeling. Growing up, everyone always thought I spoke with an American accent. Then I met people who'd actually heard Americans talk, and then they told me it wasn't an American accent. So people thought I spoke with a British accent. And then I met people who'd actually heard British people speaking, and then they told me it wasn't a British accent either. And then I got older and discovered that there's no such thing as a pure "American" or "British" accent either.
As for what I sound like? We gave up and labelled it as What the Hell Is That Accent?
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Alright! I'm not alone on this!
High-fives, both of ya! (raises hand for a high-five)
"Shake the dust." - Anis Mojgani*raises hand...*
*...FAKE-OUT*
...Why are the only Singaporeans on this site a bunch of chiak kantang jokers?
(For the record, there used to be a few others around, but they've either moved on or are hiding in embarrassment from my antics. Or something like that.)

"You fail to recognize that it matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be."Close by to Serangoon Gardens. Though my school is all the way at Dover. (it's a 45 minute MRT ride XD)
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiHaha, I see. What year ya studying in?

"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiStill in Secondary School. Probably the youngest Singaporean troper.
The Artifact. Is currently Lazy Hazy.I'm currently living in Singapore, but isn't exactly Singaporean. Does that count?
Polytechnic, huh? I was first accepted in the Game Design Diploma when I got into my current Polytechnic, but later appealed to a different course.
I need to know if I'm all alone here.
Come on.
