Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! The current image is fine.
Current is fine.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Current is a pun and nothing more.
I have a message from another time...Current is a pun and this is good.
Whilst having every page image be a Visual Pun would be bad, the odd one is fine and funny, especially when the actual trope would be hard to illustrate. Provided the image is far enough removed from the trope (like in this case), I like having the puns; I vote to keep the current image.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Short answer: Keep Until Better Image Suggested
Long answer: Yes, a real example will be nice. However, it proved to be difficult and, since visual puns are allowed, the current should stay until a better replacement is found. Feel free to suggest.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. Why is the actual trope hard to illustrate? Dudes flying and bricking: [1]◊

Are they flying? Looks like a screwy-angle action panel with them just punching each other.
I have a message from another time...Anything of Superman punching something mid-flight?
Clearly mid-flight, I mean. With his body positioned horizontally and such. And a background that's clearly a sky.

somethingLeave it as is.
Thumbs down to the Superboys pic...not nearly clear enough.
Here's an idea. My only concern may be that Superman may be a bit small. However, he's still pretty much the main focus, and his size compared to the train might actually help illustrate the feat of strength on display here.

I have a message from another time...Is there a single panel in which he's flying and showing off super strength?
somethingTo quote Fast Eddie: "The existing image is funny. Can't think of a reason to change it."

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction. When I see a picture of Superman I don't see a picture that's about Flying Brick powers any more than I see a picture about red and blue spandex.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. He stopped a train and then flew away.
I don't know how to make this simpler.
I have a message from another time...It would have to be called attention to, or something. Like the spandex.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. Also, the things are in two different panels. Isn't there something like say, him catching an airplane?
somethingI have a message from another time...
Those pictures all say "Superman", not "Stock superhero setup: Flight + Super-Strength + Nigh-Invulnerability".
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. You kiddin'?
Look at the helicopter picture. Specifically, look at the metal near Supes's hand.
And I think it's pretty obvious that they're flying.
I have a message from another time...I don't mean those things aren't apparent in the picture, I mean it's not apparently about them. It wouldn't be a good picture for an article about sun halos, or news journalism, or spandex, either.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. One would be hard-pressed to find a superhero picture where the superhero is showing off his powers and the picture is not focusing on him.
I have a message from another time...
Shouldn't this page has a proper image instead of a Visual Pun? An image of Superman could do.
