NO TREE FOR ME (ALSO LOVES HER BOYFRIEND)I was literally right about to post "Pretty much everything causes cancer". i'm glad at the last minute I decided to read the posts.
My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.Absolutely everything?

Alt account of Angeldog 2437.Though, the standard healthy living is still useful for helping with the odds.
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.Unless you do something like walk into a radiation field, however, your chances are probably just going to go up by .0000000001%. Just eat well, stay fit, and don't do anything really stupid and you will be fine. If you have a family history of cancer, be more careful though. That tends to be a big factor.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.To button down the issue at bit more, there are peer-reviewed, scientifically credited studies suggesting a link between pancreatic cancer and the excessive consumption of high fructose corn syrup. Many soft drinks contain fairly large amounts of high fructose corn syrup, so the connection between soda and pancreatic cancer is not unsubstantial. Read up on it when you have some time.
Pretty much, yeah.

In fact, guess what? There are some cases of chemotherapy causing cancer!
But, seriously, as other people have said above, you could make a case that damn near anything and everything causes cancer.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Ohhhhhh.
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.Soda is terribad for you no doubt and one really should not drink it, but @the op, what the media left out about the coloring and caramel thingy that caused cancer in rats? A human would have to drink 100 cans a day to get the affect.
Do not drink soda simply because it is bad for you, not because of some exxagerated media report :3
Devypu's~ Big Pony :3I heard on radio recently that Coca-Cola and Pepsi were changing their recipes due to concerns of causing cancer. If true, I thought maybe this is connected to what the OP heard.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiThe thing is, soda itself is TERRIBLE for you. Even sprite, which is usually thought of as "healthier", will mess you up something bad.
Having a soda won't kill you; drinking it all the time will. Don't have soda more than like, once every few days, and DON'T drink it every day. Try and drink as much water as possible, because that is what your body actually needs.
Can't live without soda? Do what I do: Fancy, extra bubbly (I usually use La Croix) carbonated water with some juice added. Takes a little bit of getting used to, but I love em! I honestly prefer one of those with some grape juice to a can of coca-cola.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.The soda companies even changed things to avoid negative media attention. And guess where the cost of that will be passed to. It doesn't really bother me as I rarely drink soda, I just hate how the media pulls these scare tactics on the public releasing half the facts.
And yeah. I think people have really no idea at all just how bad soda is for you - especially in the serving sizes you get. Next time you all are in the kitchen get a teaspoon and your sugar out. Now pour out 14 teaspoons of sugar into a cup. That is how much sugar you have taken in from a single soda. Now alot of ppl have a couple or more a day or even supersize them. Now you understand why diabetes is becoming so rampant.

It's like when they said popcorn butter vapor causes cancer, but failed to mention you'd have to inhale a shitton of it everyday for about 40 years for that to happen.
So, in the U.S., randomly stripping is a signal that you want to sing the national anthem? - That HumanSoda will likely poison you of sugar before it gives you cancer. But if it doesn't poison you first, yeah, you can drink enough to get cancer. By which I mean, hopefully your own body doesn't decide to cause itself to get cancerous off its own radiation first.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.Since we don't live forever anyway, and we're likely to die of other far more serious complications than what mere carbonated sugary soda might do, BOTTOMS UP.

You know I heard a lot of things in my life but just recently I learn form my parents that soda causes cancer. I can understand the diabetes and obesity but cancer? Apparently, there is chemcial called EM 1(?)where that most soda corporations for caramel coloring that supposedly causes some cancer. Granted, it may not entirely accurate and I need to read those again but that is what got from the news. There some counterarguments that CSMI is accused of fearmongering that chemical for coloring does not cause any cancer. This may be a stupid question or a troll post but does soda really cause cancer?
