Since the last one bit it when the Great Cleansing occurred...

It is an alright game, I guess. I mean, I played it a bit back in the day. Nothing to write home about.

...

Yeah, I didn't that would fool anyone either.

Gotcha Force is easily my favourite game of all time, beating out Pokemon, Blaz Blue, and Super Smash Bros. I am still an avid player of it, despite the game being almost 10 years old now. I recognize its many flaws but the gameplay is just so fast-paced and fun that I can forgive them.

Seriously, what other game can have a ninja using a flamethrower on its arms team up with a giant electrical dragon to go up against a Transforming Mecha and a samurai who can cut the very fabric of time. Sounds pretty cool, huh?

I played Gotcha Force years ago back when I was in middle school. Loved that game.

I'm gonna dig my copy out from the depths of my Gamecube collection, I remember trying to do an entire run using only the terrible enemy borgs you can obtain, and now I want to replay this game so bad

Beating Sho for the first time was one of my fondest memories as a kid in all honesty

i recently got this game! =D got it for about 30 dollars on Amazon; current prices are at around 200 dollars—more expensive than Shantae!

I've been busy with work, but I can't wait to try it out.

[up][up]That would be the Death Force, if I am not mistaken.

Also, Capcom has actually decided to reprint Gotcha Force in Japan. They are reprinting a Game Cube game... I'm probably going to be disappointed but this really feels like they are gauging interest in the series to see if they will develop a sequel. If it happens, it'll be the greatest day of my life.

[up] Capcom have always loved Gotcha Force, a lot of staff mention it as one of their favorite games in interviews and the site used to be (it still might be I'm not sure) filled with videos and screenshots.

If they are reprinting it, and gauging interest, a sequel could certainly be a possibility, and I would have to inform my friends and family that I would not be available for a month after the release date.

...They're reprinting it?

Oh, please please pleaaaase let there be a sequel!

It might not exactly be my favorite game now, but it's still up there. And there was a period of a year or so that I was completely obsessed with the game.

NEED MORE GOTCHA FORCE

I just hope that they'll do more advertizing this time around.

Do you think there will be an American reprint? it's currently more expensive than Shantae.

I dream every night that there is one.

Well, more like once a week, but that doesn't sound as good.

I'm hoping there will be a fun sequel, with tons of more options. That will get massive critical acclaim and renew interest in the series which will lead to a remake of the first game.

There's so much more they can do with the battle system they have going on. I personally think that they could've done so much more with the whole "GF Points" System.

For example, they could let you scale up or scale down borgs for an appropriate change in GF points. They could perhaps offer "Commands", which essentially act as spells in exchange for a decrease in GF. They could do things like immediately let you switch out your current borg for one in reserve, heal your current borg, nuke the battlefield...

There's potential!

I'd prefer a way to customize the borgs. Espeically since they have the toy theme going on. Stuff like switching out weapons between similar borgs would be fun.
