Fate/kaleid Liner Prisma Ilya Anime

So I just watched everything in the first season up to the defeat of Saber Alter (by the Star Sheriffs!).

Due to the PV and promotional art, I had dismissed the show as paedoshit. I decided to give it a fair chance.

Turns out, the paedoshit is there, but it's subtle, shows up occasionally but very clearly (why the shot of the little girls in class adjusting the bloomers around their butt, for instance?), and is wrapped up in a show that's genuinely hilarious, with charismatic characters, very nice visuals, Ilya playing a great (though uncharacteristic) POV character, and is all-around competently executed.

But I still got bored. The desperate battle against Saber Alter reminded me a lot of the one against Her-cu-les (Zero to Hero!), but I didn't feel the tension at all, because I was 100% certain our heroines would survive.

Also, I was a bit pissed off when Illya got to use Unlimited Blade Works. You have to earn that ability through heartache and magic circuit burning and self-actualization. You-you faker! That NP is patented!

Keep in mind that Illya's world, while similar to the Fateverse in some ways, is also vastly different. It doesn't quite follow the same rules, never mind its timeline diverging REALLY early (like 200 years).

Doesn't Illya have enough heartache from the mainline verse to carry over?

Prisma verse is outright O Pverse

One character in particular who'd been a tough but managable fight for a mage servant team basically skyrockets to being able to just walk through a couple of the Servant/Master duos easily.

Cause one thing Prisma loves to do is essentially deal with certain character flaws

Gilgamesh whose only driven by winning for example doesn't have that whole "Pride" issue and actually will think outside of his little golden box.

Meganeko or megane-ko. MegaNeko is a different trope entirely.

It's certainly fun to imagine though.

Since we stopped at chapter 16

and there are alot of side chapter adventures you could adapt from 3rei -which had to have happened during 2wei- plus the 11 chapters left in

If 2wei Herz is 10 episodes long like the others it should be manageable... since the last 7 or so chapters are basically one big running fight.

in context Saber Alter and Bazett's fights are about Three chapters long respectively Saber Alter's fight was basically 2 episodes and Bazett's was three -with some anime only additions but They did help flesh out the fight... since in the Manga all you see of Luvia and Auguste's attempts is the ending-

Hopefully 3rei's man arc will be wrapping up... but all these freaking delays man

Good to have the series back though.

Man, it spoils an entire season ahead of schedule....he doesn't even show up this season.

Well they do only have 10 chapters of 2Wei left to adapt as of the end of 2Wei so depending on the pacing Herz could adapt some of 3Rei as well.

Actually, by now it just makes me feel uncomfortable.

I actually have the first episode unwatched, because I'm starting on the 2wei OVA first. And its set in an onsen. Oh yeah. XD

EDIT:

• Welp, the Kuro segment at the hot springs might as well have been outright loli porn, complete with Illya ahegao at the end. Really.
• Heapings of Art Shift for the table tennis segment. Pastels for Kuro and Illya, sketch pencil animation for Liz and Sella...
• G-GRAIL-KUN?!?◊ Keep away from Lancers.
• Shirou will never escape Sebastian. EVER.
