I was so hoping Don Vivioso would go through Karmic Transformation. Really disappointed when that didn't happen.
Also, why don't they just say that most mutants were innocent people and animals or the fact that they're the ones who saved New York from the Kraang invasion.

Would they care?
They should since anyone can mutate and they're no exception.
No idea on the second thing I said though.
The irony is the Turtles have probably tried harder than anyone to prevent more mutants from being created. Of course their actions frequently result in someone being mutated anyways.
Also did Pete have to become an elephant in the room? Couldn't they have just said he went south for the Winter? Or that they put him on ice and forgot about him for two season and counting, like Timothy?
If April is any indication we have a better explanation of what really happened to the Aeons.

Apparently, Miyamoto Usagi will appear in the show sometime.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I wonder if I'm the only one who wants the final episode to be titled "The Good Guys Win and The Bad Guys Lose".
Some stuff from the NYCC panel: Alopex (voiced by Minae Noji), Kavaxas (voiced by Mark Hamill), and the Super Shredder!
FYI, the Kavaxas clip has some small spoilers since it takes place in season five.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Huh, thats interesting. Taking pretty popular(I'd assume, but hard to tell, if not anything else she is basically Ninjara replacement xD) newer character from IDW?
...Or at least name of her and combining her with Ninjara's design to some weird extend?
Seriously, idw Alopex much cooler looking

Wait, is the dragon called Kavaxas, or Hot Head?
I'm guessing Kavaxas, but either Mikey or the toyline will call him Hot Head.
This happens often. For instance. Dr. Tyler Rockwell is known as Monkeybrains in the toys, even though he's never called that in the series.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Yes! I've always hoped that they would incorporate Super Shredder at some point. I don't know how it'll work since the turtles are already outmatched the Shedder, but Super Shredder was such an Anti-Climax Boss, and I've always thought that this show would do him more justice.
With today's new episode we got Nick's Super Shredder.
Splinter's "dead". Again. Just like last season and the one before. Time for another vacation. They've been to the farm and to space. Where will the Turtles this time? Under the sea? The microverse? Transdimensional fighting tournament?
Travel through time. Obviously.
I think Saki provides one of the most realistic depictions of a crazy person that I can think of. No maniacal laughter or split personalities or going, "Thank you" whenever someone calls them crazy. He's just a guy who keeps insisting that this false reality he's thought up is actually real, so much so that he believes all the crazy stuff he says is true. That's how real life crazy people act, so kudos to the show for providing an accurate depiction of the mentally ill. Aside from, you know, the mutating into a monster with blades sticking out everywhere part.

Wasn't as exciting as I was hoping, but it's not over yet.
Given Splinter's warnings that he won't always be around, I wonder if they might actually kill him off at some point. After all he passed away in the original Mirage comics.
Was anyone else really impressed with the trailer for this arc? It felt like a movie trailer.
Trailer?
I'll be honest: when his mutation started to destabilize and his arm went all wonky, I wanted him to start wheeling around with balloon sound effects.
There was recently comic book crossover between TMNT and Batman.
Now they're writing a new one.
Between Nick's TMNT and Batman TAS. First issue's already released.
When they mentioned that this was the place where Splinter fought the Rat King I was kind of hoping we'd see him again. For those who don't know, the whole sequence at the bottom of the pit was taken straight out of the comics, right down to the reveal at the end about the Rat King. I'm hoping Shredder will get further mutated, because I don't especially care for the look he's sporting now.
Goddamn, even by this series' standards that was a freaky episode.
I never would've expected them to adapt Splinter's predicament from the original "City at War" arc. They didn't go so far as to actually have Splinter eat a rat, even though they still kept in Rat King being dead the whole time.
Well I think the not eating the rat part is due to the difference in the characters of both Splinter and the Rat King the mirage splinter started as a rat and Rat King was a neutral character rather than an evil one, Splinter eating a normal rat was him learning that survival is more important than principle, while the 2012 version was temptation to lose his humanity.

Well, Shredder has Wolverine Claws now.
