New episode, and it does indeed have Tokka. But not like any Tokka we've ever seen before. Here Tokka is described as one of six great cosmic monsters. This is different than the reality bending creators of chaos who were put in fifth dimensional prisons. Did they ever refer to Chtugga, that giant sea monster from "The Cosmic Ocean," as a great cosmic monster?

This show seems to really like it's kaijus. Big momma Tokka will be missed.

So, I noticed the trope pages now basically list Dregg as dead after being thrown out the airlock. Did I miss a writer verifying that, or do people really just assume that was all it took?

When I first saw Chompy, I thought he was Tokka, which immediately made me think of this.

Probably assumption, much like Rat King after Of Rats and Men.

[up] Part of me knew that link would lead to that. :P

Wait. Didn't the Triceratons blow up a sun? If they can blow up a sun do they even NEED the Heart of Darkness to destroy Earth?

A shame Tiger Claw's Even Evil Has Standards moment was nullified.

At least things are wrapped up...except, What happened to Zeno?

Wonder what's next.

@ Will Keaton : Maybe the sun-breaker weapon is good for a target like Tokka, who can't (at least that we know of) warp out, while the black-hole generator is seen as needed for the ever-slippery Kraang.

What is Dregg, anyway? Insect or robot? They did that false-decap moment, and now I'm not sure.

@ Metal Michelangelo : Yes, Tiger Claw's moment was taken back. But now we know its possible for him to have one (guess this time, he didn't see Shredder's attempt at betrayal) and given Saki's nutsiness, it may happen again.

I was so glad to finally see the 'shrug battle king' Mozar get taken down. His raw power and skill aside, things just seemed to fall his way forever.

I had honestly thought that Karai would play a role in this, since she was about the only ally or foe not present the first time.

Yeah, same here. Trans Dimensional Turtles did not help, especially that scene with Tiger Claw and the Kraathatragon from Wormquake/The Manhattan Project.

A small detail I noticed is that when the present turtles are running off to help their past selves in Washington Square, a person can be seen hiding behind a car and runs off. Wonder if that'll be related to the EPF and anti-mutant campaign that'll Ciro said would be part of season 4.

Why is it that the Shinegami was so hot that she inspired me to draw fanart of the girls now?

Well, that just answers itself. :/

Really like how serious this is going to get. And Shredder looks like he's coming back as a Bigger Bad this time around. If he does die, does it mean the series is finished? Always wondered about that.

Shinigami's accent drifted between vaguely Japanese-sounding to disappearing to sometimes sounding a little French. Also sometimes she would let out a nasally cackle, which was weird. I do like that her and Karai had a little Mean Girls moment where they called April a silly red bird.

I loved the bit with Fishface admitting his poor night vision but the Most Interesting Fish joke is already outdated. There was a trend this episode of him getting taken down first and usually very easily, so I wonder if he's just about due for a secondary mutation upgrade soon.

Judging from the new intro, we're not going to be seeing the Kraang for the rest of the season.

I'm VERY OK with this, if true.

Not completely in the wrong on what, joining in on Karai's insane revenge trip, or saying at the end how bad an idea this was?

Because REALLY Karai's plan was just bad.

I think it's very short sighted of the Turtles and Splinter to think that if they just leave the Shredder alone to regroup that he wont come after them again. Even if he doesn't personally target them, his last plot was mind controlling the city. He needs to be stopped and dismantling his criminal operations is the logical first step.

Of course, it's also short sighted of Karai to just try to blow it all up not anticipate other criminals would try to fill the vacuum, which I'm guessing we'll see in upcoming episodes.

Let's not forget that Karai is thinking about going after Shredder when the last time she did that, led to her getting mutated and brainwashed, not to mention she can't even handle his minions.

Why is Shredder on life support with his face all bandaged? I know Splinter beat him up, but life support? He did not hit Saki that hard.

I think it was because the pain-killers started wearing off. Dude's been in the ninja business a while, and he's built up QUITE a lot of injuries, all while still being a normal human, those injuries build up after a while. Plus he old.
