@srebak: Dude, it's just a show.
That's another issue: even if i do Tivo the stuff, my curiosity will eventually get the better of me and make me want to "watch it and get it over with", which will then backfire on me somehow later on. And even if by some miracle i can hold off watching the new stuff until November, then i have to deal not ruining my Thanksgiving mood, the same holds truth for Christmas if i can hold off til December.
Yes, a show that, because i liked certain aspects of it, i can't stop watching or take in as i do. Maybe it's just the author in me looking for material for my own work, i don't know, but that's just the way i am.

Short preview for the first episode of season 3, Within The Woods:
That new voice.
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!Clearly, Shredder and his men kicked the crap out of Leonardo so hard, they gave him a new voice actor.
...I don't have any humorous justification for Catrambone, though.
...Yeah the new voice is gonna take getting used to, while apparently Jason Biggs was replaced before in Season 2, I didn't notice...Seth Green,he's noticeable...
Head cold? :P
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!I'm thinking that since his voice actors have progressively deeper voices, the in-universe reason could be puberty.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Outside of the note of Leo's new voice, I like the whole Horror movie monster vibe "Creep" (the name of this weed monster, according to TMNTPedia) gives off.
EDIT: And I just found out the episode's title, "Within The Woods", was also the name of the Ashcan Copy of Evil Dead meant to sell the film. Coincidence? Eh probably not.

I thought that was Muckman. But then, there was a conspicuous lack of Joe with him.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatYeah, I can't say I'm much a fan of the new voice, but I suppose I can headcanon justify the major change on account of some mix of puberty/Shredder-beating-internal-body-damage.
Seth Green sounds absolutely NOTHING like Leonardo. At least the guy they hired to temporarily replace Leo's original voice actor sounded like the Leo we've known for a season and a half.
Yeah, it's gonna be quite the adjustment. I was having enough trouble adjusting to the Leo that sounded similar to Biggs. xD
Also, according to the preview that was aired at a Walmart for some reason and is now floating around the internet, Leo's voice changed because of damage Shredder did to his throat. So yes, Shredder punched Leo so hard he got a new voice. xD
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!I'll admit, I have to give them major bonus points for actually justifying the change in voice. I may not like the change, but I can't fault them for actually working it into the show rather than just ignoring it.
How did I I Knew It! as a joke?
I don't think you're the only one. :P
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!Did Casey get mutated or something? The creature's wearing his mask.
And the TMNT wiki says Donnie and Raph are held hostage by the creature, so where am I?
Creep's artwork says that it took the mask as a trophy, so it presumably caught Casey too. It also explains where it got its overalls and shows its previous mask (a sack on its head).
It also shows its face, which is underwhelming.

Waaaaaaaaaaait, is this guy a Jason parody?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI like finding subtle foreshadowing in early episodes when I see them on TV.
Like Mikey waving around a comic book with a picture of (essentially) Mutagen Man on the cover early on in "The Pulverizer Returns!", or the camera cutting to Mikey's water balloon right after Leo wonders aloud how to stop the Shredder's plan in "Panic in the Sewers".
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton! It may be worth noting that in addition to coming to the cartoon series in the near future, this week also saw the introduction of Mondo Gekko to the IDW comic as well.
So... new season, guys!
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Gonna have to miss the episode. I'll catch it on Nick later.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Raph's particular brand of brotherly affection is adorable.
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!I guess they decided to do the super-scary episode first thing this time.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.
Why don't you just Tivo that $#!t?
