This thread deals with all issues concerning the icons used for namespaces and their buttons, including proposals for icons for new namespaces and bugs with existing icons.
When submitting an icon, the icon images should be exactly 16x16 png with a transparent background. A gif can also be used, but png is usually better. Also, the naming convention is important. It should be the namespace in lowercase.
I am compiling a list of namespaces that need icons, and icons for those name spaces. This would be preferred to be done quickly because I've convinced Eddie to hook them up when I get them complied. I will be editing the OP as we go.

Didn't realize icons were still missing. Here's two for Manhua, because I'm seeing two different character sets for simplified Chinese depending on the page encoding, and another icon for the timeline.

Here's an old list from Septimus that gives a list of icons that are ready to be implemented. Maybe we can look over them again?

I think the box makes it hard to make out at icon size. What do you think of Berrenta's above proposal?

◊ (asset for wiki articles containing all the existing namespace icons) actually contains a number of namespace icons that currently are not displayed anywhere.Also brought up by Amonimus here, complete with a corresponding namespace list.
Note that some of the icons are for deprecated namespaces, such as Disney/

I suspect so. I'll be asking for a way to specify namespace icons along with namespaces itself (as discussed in the Overhauling Page Creation thread), though.
