Needs Help: Obviously Evil

This came up in the Evil Is Hammy IP, and I thought this one deserved a second look. Skeletor is pretty obvious, but just doesn't look all that evil. He's got Black Eyes of Evil, Good Colors, Evil Colors, Evil Eyebrows (implied, not actual eyebrows), Evil Is Hammy pose, and Skeletons in the Coat Closet going, so that's all pretty good. I'm wondering if we couldn't get more mileage out of something more evil looking; if you don't know the show, I imagine Skeletor looks mostly kind of weird, although you would probably guess he's evil, or at least cursed. At the very least, I think that if we're going to use Skeletor, we should get his ram skull staff into the shot, or find a picture of him doing something evil.

Otherwise, I think the trope might be better illustrated by something more hair-raising, like the Dark One from Legend, some kind of Commie Nazis, or someone that covers one or more of the physical types listed, like Looks Like Orlock or Fat Southerner In A White Suit. Ideally, I'd like to see an evil act and/or some minions. What say you?

The character in that image looks Obviously Evil. He also has a skull face. If you think something else might be better, please suggest it. (Also, in IP "suggestion" usually means "an image", not words.)

Pic is perfect. Keep forever.

Keep Until Better Image Suggestion for me.

My main objection to the pic is that it's fuzzy and has obvious artifacts in the black background. I don't mind Skeletor being the pic, but I'd prefer either a better quality version or something of him from the new He-Man cartoon.

Second one looks good, though I'm not sure if it will still be good shrunk down.

Plussed current image a bit (from this◊ to that◊); those are cool but not an improvement I don't think.

My only issue is that it's a bit fuzzy. Other than that, keep.

I think both of those illustrate the trope much better than the current pic, and are better quality images. Less blurry, for sure.

Here's a crop of the second one.

Those DO look better. Support either one.

EDIT: Actually the staff pic could go up on Skull for a Head since that pic is also artifacted and the pic of Skeletor on his throne could go on this page.

I think I like this one◊ a little better for that page.

I don't think we should replace Skeletor. It's a little hard to look more evil than that.

I like both in #10. The first one a little more for the nostalgia factor.

The pose adds something, to me, I guess. Still prefer current. The new cartoon with the flaming staff is too exaggerated. Would like the walking-with-a-staff one ok but roughly the same is on Skull for a Head and fine there (tho could maybe be swapped with that).

I think I like Skellitor on Skull for a Head better than this.

Agreed; the setting is doing more of the work than the character.

I can't believe I just read the words "Skeletor just doesn't look all that evil."

The first pic in post #10 is perfect. In the second one (the throne pic) the shrinkage makes his skull face looks blurry, and since the skull is a big part of his obviously evil look, we should aim for clarity. Also, he has a more evil expression in the first pic, in the second one he looks more like bored or disappointed.
