So, there's going to be a few WA easter eggs in Soul Sacrifice: Delta. Glad to know Sony is paying attention to the series on some level.
So, out of a whim, I decided to do a quick Google on what's happening been happening to this series, and...

So after talking about how I've been watching a Let's Play of Wild ARMs Alter Code F in the General RPG forum, I finally decided to come to the actual Wild Arms threat to talk about it.
The dude playing (after I switched to a commentary-less walkthrough because I hated listening to an earlier one with a Lets Player who—as most of them tend to do—decided making dumb jokes and running his mouth was more important than playing) tends to be real stingy with Jack's techs. You have to use them more to power them up and reduce the MP cost, but he's not really grinding to do that. That being said, it's not me playing the game so I should probably shut my trap.
Right now he's just defeated Mother, and is looking for the most powerful Guardian in it's underwater lair (found via entering a whirlpool). I gotta admit, the mix of fantasy with a Wild West setting makes me really want to see another game in this franchise. Hopefully, while avoiding the pitfalls of the fifth game (though even that had it's bright points).

One Strip! One Strip!Random Alter Code F question that I don't expect to be answered (so I'll ask on the general thread as well):
Is Cecilia wearing shorts and tights, or a skirt and stockings?
One Strip! One Strip!Skirt and Stockings. Full-body official art for reference.

In no way is that Zettai Ryouiki, those tights go all the way up.
Zettai Ryouiki is about the gap between the bottom of the skirt and top of the tights or socks.
Those just might be Yoga pants or something like it actually.

Welp, I know this is a strange thing to keep bringing up, but now I'm realizing she is wearing tights.
So I just saw Rudy's Robotic Reveal via LP. I'm a little annoyed that we never see the stump. That's a morbid thing to saw, but we hear he lost an arm, but see no sign of the injury. That kinda annoys me.
Also, they make a big deal of [[{{Artificial Human Holmcross' like Rudy being able to use Arms, so what's the deal with Jane? Did she just Tsundere it into submission or something?
One Strip! One Strip! The thing about Rudy is that he can automatically sync with all ARMs. Most people who can use ARMs just sync with one of them and that's it forever. It's like an Empathic Weapon kinda thing where only certain people are accepted by certain weapons.
Holmcross is just a garbled mistranslation of Homunculus, btw.

Oh. Okay, that makes sense. Also, I know about the Holmcross / Homunculus thing. I still kinda like Holmcross though.
So, in summation, Skirt Over Slacks.
One Strip! One Strip!More like Tunic and Tights, imo.
Eh. I suppose.
A Wild Dream Demon appeared.
So...Elizabeth is never really explained at all is she? She just comes out of nowhere. At least the the next time a dream demon popped up, it would have some kind of explanation.
One Strip! One Strip!Edit: Damn it I didn't realize you weren't talking about Beatrice.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Double post:
A lot has happened since I last talked about this, but Rudy has revealed his true self, Zed has had a heart to heart with Mother, a lot of other shit has happened, and most importantly...
...What did happen to his sword.
Anyway, the dude playing has discovered the combo of Emma and Great Booster (with Cecilia sometimes adding Fragile) and Rudy and Gattling Raid.
He's more or less one shotting bosses now, and Zed was no different.
One Strip! One Strip! So, the game is finished.
I had no idea Filgaia was actually restored at the end of it. I assumed it was a we still have a long way to go, but at least we ain't dead thing. Shows what I know.
Nothing special. The combination of Fantasy with the wild west setting provided something interesting though. I wouldn't mind a new game in this series, though with so many years since the 5th game, they could probably start completely fresh. Then again, it's always a different universe every time, so they could do that anyway.
I suggested it on the General JRPG thread, but I'd name hypothetical 6th game, The Sixth Shooter.
One Strip! One Strip!Actually, there is a new game in the works.
Alas, as with the Breath of Fire series, the new game will be a mobile game

Huh. Go figure.
I mean, they are mobile games, but I suppose it's better than nothing.
One Strip! One Strip!I think the only problem I ever had was them apparently placing them all in the same Fiona is. AU works better.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. We finally have a title and estimated release date for the new Wild ARMs mobile game. It'll be called Wild ARMs: Million Memories, and will be released in Japan this year.
The official Wild ARMs website also has a short version of the game's theme song, which is composed by series veteran Michiko Naruke and sung by Rin Akatsuki.

The new game is available for pre-registration
The main site has also been updated
It's an Action RPG with a new plot where all the characters from Wild Arms 1 to XF is involved. Main character is a new ARMs Meister named Britney Shursberry.
Akifumi Kaneko returns to his baby to serve as general supervisor. Michiko Naruke returns to provide a new soundtrack.
So, anyone know how to legally download a Japanese iOS/Android game and purchase micro-transactions if you're not in Japan? It's not my preferred way of gaming, but if that's the only way I could show support to my favorite game series, so be it.

So this is how such a great franchise ends: converted into cellphone shovelware.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...It's being directed by the same guy as the original series, so I'm not sure you can say it's shovelware per se.
Welp, looks like I may have to invest in a new Playstation console again if this come to fruition. Nice to see that Kaneko hasn't been completely cut off from his baby even after he left Sony to start his own third party company.
