Sorry. Forgot about that.
We just waiting for the Xiph to finish with setup?
Yeah, sorry. If you want I could make a nice little thread for the RP and you guys could run around and develop character and stuff until I'm ready to introduce my bigger NP Cs?
:smug:You know what? Fuck it. I could not think of anything but my character for the last two days. I should at least put it here, and maybe an embryo of a deck. I may have to step down from the game sometime in the future, but I should at least try to follow this. If it's Pb P, it should be pretty slow anyway.
- Name: Metron Eguil
- Home Plane: Ravnica
- Race: Vedalken (the two-armed kind)
- Color: Blue and Red
- Backstory:
Metron's beginning in life has not been the brightest of all. He was an artifact maker in his native plane of Ravnica; and quite skilled at that. But there was not much demand for golems back in the days, and even less for little mechanic creatures he liked to shape. He was never taken in any guild, and spend his time as a clockmaker to pay the bills. Incidentally, his love for artifact creature and clocks gave birth to what is probably his best creation. And the utter failure during a prototype test was what ignited his Planewalker's spark.
The beast exploded in a magical white blast, and Metron, caught in the radius, disappeared without leaving a trace. People believed him to be lost forever, but after a day, he reappeared in the same place. He looked like he aged several years, and was... not quite the same. Something in his eyes sparkled with madness. His talents for artifact making were greatly improved, and he could now wield Red magic as much as his usual Blue magic. He also now seems to have an anarchic relation to time: his spells tend to work several minutes after what who have been considered normal, or sometimes actually works before he cast them.
He wanders around, minding his own business. But you're never quite sure what's he's up to: he confuses tenses all the time, speaking of future events as past or present action as a distant future. He has probably something very important to do... or maybe has he already done it before?
- Key Card: Either Jhoira's Timebug, or Paradox Haze.
- Deck: Not done at the moment, but, in case this wasn't obvious, it's going to be UR with a large focus on Suspend cards and artifacts (this is gonna suck, isn't?).
Waddya think?

@Jawa: I don't like the battles being written out IC; there's way too much potential for nonsensical flavour in an average game of Magic, and beyond that you're going to get a lot of long-ass posts that aren't really that interesting to read. I think a short summary, maybe IC-ifying any particularly interesting plays, is the best way to do it.
I guess it is.I stuck to a "one of each Rare only" rule aside from my signature card, so I look forward to being screwed over. Incidentally, if possible, I'd like for my character to be a Spirit.

When you say "spirit" do you mean a ghost or something like a kami?
I don't know if ghosts can be planeswalkers. Ugin is a planeswalker who's described as a "spirit dragon", so presumably there is some kind of spirit thing that can be a 'walker.
I guess it is.If anyone wants to join but is having trouble with deckbuilding, I'm willing to help or just make a deck for you.
I guess it is.Yo Xiph, how's it going?
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-I am so sorry. I have the villain basically ready. Would you like me to start up a thread in RP for you guys to run around in Ravnica and interact?
:smug:Whenever you're ready, man.
Question, if our characters die, do we get to make new ones?
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-I wouldn't mind it, although I'd assume you're allowed to let your opponents live in PVP.
:smug:I don't think going to 0 life necessarily represents actual death.

I guess it is.Final edit of Heatran. He is now from the plane of Unoruga, a plane where flamekin are born with souls and possess a far different culture. I'd go into detail but I have no interest in boring you all with my half-assed world building.
"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValI would like to join this but I'm not good with deck building and I've only played Magic the Gathering in video game form.
. . . That was one of the original propositions, yes.
