I'd say it's a bit of both. Pirates Isle Underground is pretty dark, but you should still be able to see everything fairly well.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia!Okay. Just checking. But I made it outside and found both treasure chests, so hopefully I won't spend too much time there, lol.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I WISH THEY WERE ALL THAT EASY!
I loved Skies of Arcadia, one of my favorite games of all time. The characters, world, mood, story, art style, it was wonderfully put together. I wish they'd re-release it over Live/PSN.
This is one of my favorite games of all time. It was just.. good. The characters were endearing, and the world was utterly unique. SEGA at their finest. I wish they had done good on their promise of a PS 2 sequel.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI really wanted this game for Game Cube, but I either never had enough money, or couldn't find a place that was selling it.
To say nothing of my original mistake of wanting to rent it first (something I did with many games I wanted back then), but my store never made it available to rent, and it never dawned on me to just buy it.
Forever regretting,
One Strip! One Strip!I actually got this game not too long ago for $20 used at my local Gamestop. Pretty sweet deal when you compare the online prices for this game. I'm still trying to get my hands on the Game Cube Fire Emblem.

It's called Amazon, and ah yes I have beaten this game numerous times.
I've actually been wanting to play this game. Which version should I play, the gamecube version, or the dreamcast version?
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Love this game. It's one of my favorites. If anyone wants to chat about it, I'd be glad to participate.
Since you asked, do you know good ways to get moonberries? I just got Glider back and I barely worked on his super moves.
I don't want to pay $40+ bucks online for a used game that may or may not work, plus it's $25 bucks at Gamestop.

You want Moonberries? Never and I mean never run from a battle. I usually get to a point where I can get Vyse's Pirate's Wrath before the first dungeon is over. Also for every reason fight an additional 50 to 75 battles before and after the dungeon. Focus on getting everyone's purple magic up to level five and completely maxing out Aika and Fina's green magic and upgrading Fina's Silver magic on the Red Continent.
You won't need Drachma's super nor Fina's super until after the Green Crystal and by then you'll have access to other characters so learning Drachma's attacks aren't essential.

I am really glad to own a copy of it, but I must be honest... despite the fact that he's played up as one of the more tragic characters, I look at Ramirez as the whiniest, lowest form of life, particularly due to the fact that he worshipped a Complete Monster and started bawling after Lord Galcian got what was coming to him.
I still hate the fact that HE's the final boss, not Galcian.

I got some bad newz to tell you.Really, it comes down to who he met first. He and Fina were essentially blank slates when they were sent to the rest of the world. He was unlucky enough to end up in Valua, and Fina was lucky enough to end up with decent human beings. He ended up affirming the Elders' views on the rest of the world, while Fina saw them proved wrong. It could have easily been the other way around.
That said, there was quite a bit of Wangst involved on his end, so I can see why he drove you crazy.
I like One Piece so I can't help but think that Aika is so like Nami.
Oh, I love this game, especially those airship battles. They were so much fun and it was such a brilliant idea that I'm surprised no one ever tried emulating it.
I hated the airship battles when I first played the demo but that's because I was playing it wrong. It's actually pretty cool.
Ramirez's Silver Eclipse was like one of the coolest moves in the game. I'm more miffed that we never got to fight Alfonso ourselves.
I love the airship battles, though some could be quite long. Also, Sacrulen was the best spell for that; made you basically unkillable once you got it on someone.
I suspect Alfonso wouldn't have been much of a fight, to be honest.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia!Nitpicking for the heck of it: the late-game Hopeless Boss Fight wih Ramirez and the earlier sacrifice one character makes to protect you from Galcian both bothered me because I was pretty much always at a high enough level to beat them if they'd had their actual boss stats. I tended to make a game of seeing how many times I could use Blue Rogues on the former without otherwise healing before he managed to win. I'm not sure even plotwise that there's a good enough reason why your party can win the later battles but not those ones, since they're both fairly late-game.
Text I feel is necessary to append to every post.Honestly, I would have loved them to do it the way it was handled in Chrono Trigger. There was a seemingly impossible boss fight with a Golem during your first time in the Kingdom of Zeal. You weren't initially meant to defeat it your first playthrough but upon subsequent playthroughs, all your victory meant was a different dialogue sequence but the end result was the same. That would have been a better way to handle it, imo.
Anyway, reason for necro post (beyond the fact this is an AMAZING GAME and should be TALKED ABOUT MORE) is that I'm gathering together a bunch of remixers to hopefully come together (I'm project director) and contribute a fresh, new track or two to the album. So far we have 32 core songs as the 'album' track list but if we get more quality remixers in on the roster we could potentially add a third disc.
Now my goal is to petition this towards the end to be an official OC Remix album so thus a certain level of quality standards must be in play for any remix submitted. Because you don't have to appease 'me', the project director, with your remix (although that'd be nice too!) but you have to appease the judges of OC Remix so they'll pass the album and add it to their release queue. For those interested, the link to the project thread is here:

I wished I'm gotten this game when it was for Gamecube.
I greatly regret missing it.
One Strip! One Strip!Who here thinks getting 100% in Skies of Arcadia, although satisfying, is a bit of a chore? I found some of the discoveries to be rather annoying to acquire, especially the moving ones. The fact that the OFFICIAL strategy guide was wrong in a lot of places in this regard didn't help matters. I actually had to find a Game FA Qs text discovery guide and look some of the discoveries up. I especially loved the descriptions where it basically said: 'go here, rise to upper sky, face east, save and reset. The discovery will be ahead of you and flying right at you. DONE!' Love those instructions. lol
I dreamed about playing this game last night.
Woke up in a bad mood when I realized it was only a dream.
I actually got a little excited when I saw this thread bumped. I know by now not to actually expect things when that happens, but there was a part of me that was thinking "sequel maybe?"
Anyway, since it's here, I'd like to self-promote a little and say that I'm working on a SoA fic for Na No Wri Mo. I'd had the idea for a long time and actually had already started it, but had barely gotten anywhere and hadn't worked on it for a while. So that's my excuse to work on it. :D
I don't know if I'll finish it during the month, even if I do meet the word goal. So depending on how much gets done, I'll either finish it and then post it, or start putting up chapters after I edit a little. Either way, it'll be online eventually.
As for 100%-ing the game, I never really tried to, so I wouldn't know. Getting all the discoveries sounds like a pain in the ass, though.

Been playing this game recently. So far it's fun, but I have a question.
Is it just my TV, or is the underground of Pirate Isle ridiculously dark/ Even with all the lights turned out I kept walking on what looked like empty space. XD
The Protomen enhanced my life.
