Judging by the thread discussion, the sandbox looks fine.

Now with Alt Names - Madame Butterfly Relationship, White Mans Yellow Woman, Docile Asian Strong Whitey are the suggestions given. They are all better than the current name (which is also fairly long and led to Trope Decay on top of that).

I'd suggest Whiteys Little Asian as a slightly more concise alternative to White Mans Yellow Asian.

I'd say wait, since it would be easier to manage it while doing the rename at the same time.

Also, I love people who go into crowners and just downvote every example.

You know shimaspawn's comment about how the trope is racist and misogynist? That's why the comment is there. The current name decayed completely because it lacked the context.

The trope decayed yes, due to the non-indicative name (leading it to be mistaken for Asian/White couples), but White Mans Asian Woman works because it indicates the possession part. These names in the crowner are all sorts of awkward. At least with Where The White Women At, that's an actually a well-known quote.

I've never heard of that quote. I could accept White Mans Asian Woman, but not being well-versed in this sort of trope it's only a bit less PSOC than current.

Docile Asian Strong Whitey doesn't have the sexual connotation to me. To be honest, it seems more like a description for a buddy cop show with a nebbish Asian guy paired with a boisterous white man.

PLUS it's not even necessarily about her being docile, but fetishistic in general. Yes, there's an overlap but the whole existence of the Dragon Lady trope proves that "docile" isn't necessarily part of it.

I like White Mans Asian Woman but... it's gone. Honestly I don't like any of the ones listed, but DASW is probably the worst, and definitely the least clear.

The woman being docile is part of the trope, as per the Unfortunate Implications aspect.

That said, I'd agree the name being possessive looks to be the best route to go.

White Mans Asian Woman has only the "possesion" bit in favour, but fails all the other parts of the trope.

Oh god, Whiteys Little Asian is winning? Awkward-sounding much?...I'd rather rename it back to Me Love You Long Time. Of course, that might get confused with Asian Hooker Stereotype...

We already disqualified Me Love You Long Time for a) being a line of dialogue and b) making someone think about prostitution.

I would like a better name, but thê Whiteysblah is the best one in terms of lenght.

Following Fast Eddie's "Clear-Concise-Witty" mantra, I added "Mr West And Mrs East" among the options. I'm not voting any, out of a sense of fair play.

[EDIT: I noticed just now the "do not add politically correct options" thing. I can't deny I'm confused - the options have to be politically incorrect? Okay, we want to avoid Political Correctness Gone Mad, but didn't we also have a Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment to obey?]

The trope itself is politically incorrect, and as such the name has to reflect that to some degree. Your addition to the crowner, unfortunately, doesn't really.

Read my sandbox definition. The trope is more than just an Asian woman and a white man in love.

I dislike the implications of a father-daughter dynamic in Whitey's Little Asian.

Little Asian And Mighty Whitey sounds more like an Asian sidekick with a white hero (a la Shortround and Indiana Jones, or Wing and the Crimson Avenger).

Maybe "Asian Loves Mighty Whitey"?
