What IANCE is implying is that the major motivator for leaving the EU was to get David Cameron to resign. Forcing someone to resign is basically kicking them out.

Well, get this: Apparently an unknown number of the voters who chose "Leave" only did it as a form of protest, somehow believing that it won't amount to anything. (To quote one tweet: "I didn't think it would count".)

The top echelon of the Magi probably won't even realize there's been a secession for a couple years, and when they do they'll just shrug and say "So what?"

The lower level magi working under them are most likely the ones who'll have to travel for them, and I guess such mundane details are left up to them and they aren't supposed to bother their superiors with pointless muggle things.

So... where would this leave Rin and Luvia? And (in the UBW ending) Shirou, since he's under Rin's wing as an apprentice or something?

Luvia is stinking rich. I doubt she'll mind paying a little more for her travel expenses.

Tohsaka will have to please more old men, OH HO HO HO.

It would take a bit to explain all of the changes made to the rules and I'm loathe to give out spoilers so all I'll say for the moment is that most of the Servants are probably not who you think.

I'll probably alternate between the Lilly Wars (not the name, btw) fic and the Pokemon fic I'm working on.

I might try and restart writing this Grail War story I have set in the Apocrypha worldline.

Then again, I have all of four Servants (with "maybe" to nothing for the rest) and no Masters planned for it, so.....lot of work if I do pick it up again.

Or do something like it as a Quest on another forum. Not sure.

I have one teensy tweak I'll be adding to IANCE's previously-established rules for my fic (along with implicitly required secondary tweaks to the canon rules), but that's it.

Holy shit, Xenovia apparently isn't joining the Gremory Group and Shirou just stole a member of Issei's harem. This is potentially a pretty major game changer.

One of the things I consider most problematic with doing a DxD/Stay Night crossover is that... well, Shirou 'poaching' Issei's harem is kind of an inevitable outcome if you put Shirou in Kuou. Mostly because Shirou has most if not all of Issei's positive qualities without many of his negative ones (the most glaring being his obsession with breasts that almost reaches Eiken levels of absurdity), so Shirou has the same traits that Issei's harem finds attractive in him without many of the ones that they either dislike or tolerate.

It tends to be a thing that happens with most harem leads when they're in a crossover with a 'better' harem lead (as in 'has less unattractive traits'), and Shirou is actually a pretty damn good fit for most 'generic' harems because, well, Shirou is a great protagonist in the first place, who manages to have character flaws that don't cripple his social life.

Well, as one of the side stories (which are canon) showed, Issei's harem likes the fact that he's a pervert. Rias and Akeno in particular love that part of him because it's fun to play with, Asia never had a problem with it at all, Koneko was actually deeply troubled when he stopped being a pervert, and so on. In the case of Xenovia, I don't think she was ever actually shown to be in love with Issei, she just likes the guy and wants to have his baby because he's the Red Dragon Emperor. At least, I can't recall anything from the LNs (as of Volume 13) that shows as much.

So yeah, Shirou basically stole Xenovia because he managed to impress and thus make her not care about Issei's genes.

That being said, if Shirou and Xenovia go to Hell for training then events should play out similar enough to canon but one of the biggest changes I foresee from this act alone is the Gremory Group VS Sairaorg Group Rating Game. Without Xenovia, that's going to be very different.

His perversion isn't his only personality flaw - just his most noticeable one. He also grows out of a lot of them - most of them had to do with just how much of a fish out of water he was at the start. But he got his 'core' harem before he replaced his 'foolhardy overconfidence' with 'I can back my shittalk up now bitch'. Issei from the beginning would not be the guy who helped Riser get over his fear of dragons.

@IANCE: It makes sense up until you'd consider the whole "be a hero" thing that he inherited from Kerry. The thing is, if he just starts out there without the events that made him who he was, he wouldn't be Shirou. This is usually why most writers opt to have him transplanted from his home universe either during or post routes, though it's rare that I see anyone just have him there as if he was born from other universes.

But, it's that type of situation is what makes it difficult to keep him in character in the first place. Especially since the only versions of Shirou I've seen is either from UBW or HF, or a combination thereof. Except for Guardian. That was an odd one.

Mostly my issue with how people strangely write Shirou in crossover stories.

Hence why I like Prisma Illya Shirou as a starting point. He's fun to mess with.

Have they ever explained how that Shirou lost his folks and got adopted by Kiritsugu if there was no fire?

Vampires? Maybe the fire hit the old Fuyuki Orphanage, and he never had parents to begin with?

Considering how much worse and even denser than FSN Shirou Prisma Shirou is even without the excuse of being raised by a much more screwed up Kiritsugu on his own, maybe his parents simply had enough of him and gave him for adoption.
