Well, the mangled stubs of her fingers still have enough flexibility to operate a keyboard, anyway.

What's precedent ever done for us?*chuckle*
It was an honorOh, yes, the animal didn't get me I at least had the sense to hold my staring contest with a fence in between us, so all I got was a rather bad scare.
Be not afraid...I know this is sounds kind of a well.... retarded to bright up. But has anyone noticed you only ever see white vampires in movies? I stuck me today I'll never once seen an asian Dracula.
hashtagsarestupidThat may have something to do with the fact that you generally see a disproportionate amount of white people in movies.

What's precedent ever done for us?That and hollywood is hesitant about casting 'minorities' as monsters.
hashtagsarestupidTell that to the Yellow Peril and Scary Black Man archetypes.
What's precedent ever done for us?Surely you mean this black Dracula?

What's precedent ever done for us?Well I'm sure Hollywood has grown out of using such tried and offensives serotypes in modern cinema.... Right?

hashtagsarestupidMeh. It's less common at least.
I'm baaaaaaackThere's a black vampire antagonist in Twilight! And out of his little group of (two white one black) vampires, he doesn't even die first!
There's also a lot of hispanic vampires mentioned in flashback, but given that the setting of the flashback was Mexico, that's only to be expected. Only one is really fleshed out enough to count as any sort of full character, at least by Twilight standards.
And there's some south american vampires in book four. There's a lot more vampires named and shown in book four, so there's probably even more VOC, but none I can name off the top of my head. Of course, Twilight Vampires become paler than they were in life, so I suppose it wouldn't always be apparent.

"You fail to grasp the basic principles of mad science. Common sense would be cheating." - Narbonic...is it weird that I immediately knew that VOC stood for "vampires of color"?
I'm convinced that our modern day analogues to ancient scholars are comedians. -0dd1Normally I'd say yes, but given the context of the thread, possibly not.
"You fail to grasp the basic principles of mad science. Common sense would be cheating." - Narbonic@ .
So, does a black vampire feeding on a black person count as black on black crime?
...silence....
Meh, I thought it was clever.
It was an honorNot in the Twilight books, it doesn't. Humans don't count as people.
Except for 4/1/2011. That day lingers in my memory like...metaphor here...I should go.But would they count as three-fifths of a person?

Maybe...as long as they know their place.
Except for 4/1/2011. That day lingers in my memory like...metaphor here...I should go.Did this thread start cracking jokes while I was away? Man, how times change.
If I were to write some of the strange things that come under my eyes they would not be believed. ~Cora M. Strayer~As the thread turns man. As the thread turns.
It was an honorEven liberal smuggness and conservative self righteous indignation get dull after a while.

hashtagsarestupidReally? Do remind Congress, they seem to have forgotten.

Yeah, what, you're Garak now?
You're okay now, I assume.
