Oh wow.
I thought "domino" was Gratuitous Latin*, as opposed to, you know, dominoes.
Domino Effect Revelation would be clearer, though I'm not sure if it's clear enough.
she her hers hOI!!! i'm tempeI'm don't think the name is unclear here. It seems okay to me. Nothing really unusual about the usage of "Domino" or "Revelation" here. Needs Redirects maybe, but I dunno about renaming.
Rhymes with "Protracted."...I think it would work better as Domino Unmasquing (spelling?), to keep all those tropes consistent...
"Shit, our candidate is a psychopath. Better replace him with Newt Gingrich.""Domino Revelation" as a phrase refers to any instance where one revelation leads to another. This trope is SOLEY about this when it comes to revealing the existence of fantasy beings. It's extremely misleading, and not intuitive for searching.
That's a bit better.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)I'd venture that it is actually broader than just that based on the wide variety we see in the The Masquerade trope.
Rhymes with "Protracted."if it is then there's something wrong with the description.

Rhymes with "Protracted."That's really not a helpful comment. The trope as it stands is only about fantasy, to make it broader, we'd be changing the trope.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)I agree the name needs changing. In fact the first time I came across I deleted it as I thought it meant something completely different.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.I assume it means one revelation leads to another revelation.
EDIT: And that's the trope.

...about fantasy beings specifically and solely.

Redirects instead of renaming only makes sense when the actual name isn't inaccurate and or it's particularly clever enough that we want to keep it, but it's not necessarily intuitive. This is neither of those things, IMO.

Disagree.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I thought this was about "one revelation leads to another". Is the actual trope even tropeable? It comes across like just a thing that happens.
Pretentious quote || In-joke from fandom you've never heard of || Shameless self-promotion || Something weird you'll habituate toThe suggestion at @11 sounds too much like If Jesus, Then Aliens or All Myths Are True.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Looked over the trope page, and several examples are just "Main character discover that many kinds of magical creatures are real".
How about a page action crowner? So far, the alternatives seem to be
A) Broaden the trope to be about any sort of Reveal leading to another
B) Keep the definition under a different name
C) Keep the whole trope but add some redirects to make it easier to find
Crowner attached.
Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur. If someone were to propose the expanded version in YKTTW, I would probably tell them We Already Have This One, it's Domino Revelation, and Tropes Are Flexible.
Merging seems like a silly idea, since this is definitely a distinct trope. Renaming seems unnecessary, since the current name is fine once we tweak the description to broaden the scope.
Rhymes with "Protracted."
Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?
So this trope should be in just about every Urban Fantasy but it only has a little over twenty wicks. I think this is because Domino Revelation really doesn't have anything in the title to indicate it's about Fantasy works and isn't the type of title people are going to search for, neither does it have redirects. I also have some wondering about whether it should be merged with All Myths Are True.
Basically the definition is you find out Vampires are real, then that Werewolves are real, then that witches are real, etc. often eventually leading to All Myths Are True.
