I turn on my phone and find I have a voicemail from someone who very clearly had a wrong number, an investigator looking for someone named "Jesus" (okay, "Je Su Li" but my version's funnier)... what...
I hope these people got their phone numbers and shit sorted out...

I keep getting phone calls from people I don't even know, speaking Xhosa or Zulu or some other South African language I don't understand.
I'm assuming that they're trying to call someone who has a similar phone number or the exact same one…
On my old cell phone I got a lot of messages in, like, spanish. I think it was telemarketers or recordings, though.

So far I know, English is required, though it seems people don't care much about that.
The only other language I'm fluent in is Afrikaans, which is my home language.

So far I know, the only South African works with pages here are The Gods Must Be Crazy and Generations (which, so far I know, was replaced with Generations: The Legacy though I don't watch either of those) and Verlore Geleentheid.

I'd kind of want to see more stuff in SA that isn't about Mandela, because other than that and Duna, that's all I've heard about South Africa from fiction.
