A yuri mecha show. ... That sounds familiar. Well, I suppose I am jumping the gun on whether it is yuri or not , but I can hope. I'll eagerly wait for the subs.
Edit: Skimmed (?) the raw since I was bored. Since there was a FUCKING SUPLEX FINISHER at the end, I'll probably watch this series through.

Full Battle ModeGonna wait for the subs first.
I am disappoint. I opened this thread expecting something about Lagrange.
...Now I really want to see a Widget Series with Lagrange as the main character.

Subs are out. First impressions, anyone?
Full Battle ModeFirst impression is positive, personally.
Is there an HD one anywhere? The only one I can find is gogoanime, which is horrible quality.
Also, what's the translation of Rinne no Lagrange? I'm guessing Lagrange refers to the Lagrange point, but other than that...

@Enthryn: Yeah, I thought of the quantum chromodynamic gauge-invariant Lagrangian when I read the thread title.

"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelThe horrible quality is the price we pay for watching it this early. The pre-airing was a webcast
So, fairly decent. Good visuals, awkward fanservice
It is funny that I watched this right after rewatching Madoka Magica.
Definitely watching this right after seeing that German suplex... and all the other forms of fanservice
Although, I wonder if they will re-air this episode with better quality or will they continue where it left off.
"If music be the food of love, PLAY ON" - William ShakespearePretty Cool first episode so far. I love it.
I love the main female character of this series, Kyouno Madoka. She's passionate, caring, and very peppy, if not a bit stupid. Very much like either the main character of either a Shonen Fighting Series that's Gender Flipped or a Magical Girl series leader, but her hotblooded passion during the fight definately had some vibes of other hot blooded mecha pilots. It helps that when she adds that pony tail to her hair whenever doing some sort of athletic event, she looks a lot like a female version of Masaru Daimon.
Also German Suplex finisher. Kick. Ass.
The sheer volume of awkward fanservice she tends to accumulate is also very funny to watch along with being rather hot.

Watch SymphogearNow, see, I can remember exactly two instances of fanservice in this episode.
That, on paper, doesn't sound too bad, but then we have the way the character designs and art style aren't particular supportive towards fanservice, and so those two moments stuck out like huge, pace killing, immersion breaking sore thumbs. So, bad show, there.
However, I'm also aware that it was the first episode, where people are likely to slip in some fanservice just to hook people in, and therefore it may get better about that as it goes. So it's nothing deal breaking.
First half bored the hell out of me, and Madoka being perfect at everything was annoying.
Then the second half happened.
And it was glorious.
Lets hope it stays like the second half, or doesn't turn grimderp on the 3rd episode.
Not a bad first episode.
#IceBearForPresidentLiking it so far.
Fight smart, not fair.Alien mecha battle resolved with technically sound bridging pinfall = Added to "watching" column.
>finishing move is a wrestling move
Yeah, I don't even like mecha anime and I'll be watching this anyways.
It has been a long time since I watched a mecha anime so I'll give this one a shot.
Nice Episode 1
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuThe fanservice was more like funny service to me, but eh.
Still, I can't not love a mecha show. Especially one where the mechas do wrestling moves!
Looks like a series I can possibly get behind (haw!).
"Madoka, do you value your life?"
I don't think I can take the show serious after that line. In fact, I'm going to reserve judgment on whether this thing is just trying to get a free ride on PMMM's success, because they sure seem to be borrowing elements.
And by 'elements' do you mean 'the name of the main character'?
'cause I can't say anything else about it really reminded me of PMMM, personally.

I think that line was more rhetorical than philosophical. So yeah the comparisons between the shows are probably superfluous.
