And if they aren't smiling while talking to each other it's because they have Unresolved Sexual Tension.
And yet oddly, the Duke of Weaseltown never gets shipped with anyone. Gee, almost like these rules only apply to physically attractive young adults or something.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I was precisely wondering, after reading the last posts, if there were Weselsa shippers. Would be marginally less squicky in my book than Helsa (or that other ship), but not by much.

Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.It's still just as squicky if you take the Duke's OUAT characterization as canon.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. The sequel will be about finding the right man for Hans.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."I've still yet to watch OUAT, how is he characterised? I've seen the Dirty Old Man trope being associated with him with regard to OUAT, but that remains rather vague.
A quick search on Fanfiction.net revealed no fics pairing Elsa with Weselton. It seems there are pairings even shippers get shy of (that, or I'm inept at searching this site).

Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.Character being physically attractive is usually req. for shipping. Age not as much, especially if they do not look elderly.
Considering my fantasies about Malificent, even before Jolie got into the picture, and how I still think Glenn Close made Cruella too attractive, I groused at Disney for not helping when I saw the recent live-action version of Cinderella cause Cate Blanchett as Lady Tremaine
As much as I disapprove of Draco in Leather Pants, I am just not above it.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines. In OUAT, there's a flashback where a younger Duke of Weaseltown tries to force himself on Elsa and Anna's aunt, and when she rejects him, he tells everyone that she forced herself on him. It makes the scene in Frozen where he dances with Anna much creepier in retrospect.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon....I suddenly would like a story where Elsa marries the Duke just to get people to shut up about her love life.
It's been 3000 years…He's no longer capable, but still wants a heir and likes to watch.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."She couldn't resist his funky phresh moves.
You guys are creeping me out.
<- and the Queen disapproves with her disapproval face.

By the way, it that an actual freeze frame of the movie or was there some photoshopping involved?
The idea of Elsa marrying the Duke to shut people up (no matter how OOC that would be) evoked two images in my mind: the first was the Duke looking thoroughly disappointed as Elsa explains him that the wedding is simply a political arrangement, the second... assumed the Duke was the submissive type. My mind frightens me at times.
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.So, ,this movie has officially invaded my dreams.
There was a wall set up like the "Most Wanted" wall, but it was a "do NOT date these men!" wall. Hans was featured in a rather prominent spot.
Stupid doomed timeline...Pretty sure it's an actual freeze frame. Found it on the net so can't be 100% certain but it should be a transitional frame between actual facial expressions Elsa is making.
Google "Elsa is not amused" for image.

Yeah I've seen that one many times (with the "Elsa is not amused" caption as well) but I always wondered if it was an actual freeze frame. Guess I'll have to play with the pause button of my player to be sure.
Got it. That's when the Bishop discreetly coughs before asking her to remove her gloves. She blinks, and scowls when reopening her eyes, hence this look if you stop at the right moment.
I love rediscovering what everybody has been knowning for a year

Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.Gee, it's almost like shipping is rarely about 'who would actually be good in a relationship together' and overwhelmingly about 'these two characters are both attractive, so obviously they should hook up forever'.
Now I'm wondering if those amusing freeze frames are little jokes from the animators, or if it's simply the animation software being told to animate from expression A to expression B and doing whatever it takes to go from one to another.
Then again, human actors also have funny expressions when freeze framed.
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.Elsa and Anna in stained glass (scroll down to find them). Worship in the Church of Frozen.
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."The Church of Arendelle sounds much more authentic.
For some reason I expect Olaf as the high priest.
Nice artwork. Also, Doctor Who
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.Too soon for Elsa to be nervous when asked about hiding in the closet and then after she's alone she goes to her wardrobe and lets out a lion that's been hiding from hunters?
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."
Or, y'know, basic politeness.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.
