• Alignment: Tool (Basically, his alignment tends towards his leader. Even if he is a puppy eating baby dropkicker.)

• Personality: Fearless, but a tool. Two ways to describe Sigurd the Dragonslayer. Sigurd may be a valorous warrior and a loyal knight, but he actually has little in the way of initiative. He is absolutely loyal to the whims of his king, should he find himself in the service of one. And by absolutely loyal, I mean to a ridiculous extent. His own feelings and personal thoughts play second fiddle to them.

  • Bravery A+: Bonus to melee damage. Also immunity to mental hindrances. Sigurd's story pegged him as the man with no fear, able to resist Fafnir's aura of terror and to ride through the divine fires separating him from Brynhildr.
  • Rune Magic B: Knowledge of the original 18 runes.
  • Instinct A: Refined sixth sense is now close to true precognition. Bonus effect of reducing by half the penalties caused by obstructed vision and hearing.
• Noble Phantasms:
  • Gram - Sword of Fated Ruin A++ (Anti-Fortress) : The mightiest demonic sword that is the equal but opposite number to the mightiest holy sword, Gram is capable of conjuring up directed, devastating fire.
  • Fafnir's Black Heart - Shadow of the Dragon A+ (Support/Fortress) : Shamelessly copied from Achi's. As much a part of Sigurd as God Hand, it has the alarming side effect that no damage can be dealt to any part of their person than the back of their shoulder.
  • Tarnkappe - Shifting Lights and Shadows D (Support) : A magical cloak of invisibility and illusions. Grants D ranked Presence Concealment when used on himself.

Oh, not true; True Assassin also only has one Noble Phantasm.

But he also has no real weaknesses apart from bad luck, endurance is meaningless in this context. >_>

Oh, wait, yeah, that's right. Okay then. Guess I just compensate by making Brahmastra absurdly powerful. OH WAIT

How are we going to decide the victor in combat though? Just a question.

Raineh brings up a good point, really. Achilles can get away with it due to having no rational mind to speak of, but Sigurd... Um...

Also, Gram is supposedly proto-Caliburn in-universe, and even proto-Caliburn is supposedly weaker than Excalibur, if I'm remembering how things work right. So it'd probably be A+ at the most rather than A++. Um... Unless I'm screwing something up here. >.<

On the subject of NPs, Servants aren't really supposed to have more than one or two. Having more than that is usually an exceptional case. Remember that it's supposed to be what symbolises their herioc deeds more than anything else (ie. Arthur's Excalibur, Hercules' Twelve Labours, Alexander's army, etc.) rather than every magical/exceptional item they ever used. Arthur had a truckload of magical equipment, but only the most exceptional and emblematic of them all (her sword and scabbard) are her NPs, for example.

Um... Hmmm. Well, um, we'll figure that out somehow I guess. >.<

Obviously, any females caught by Jack on a misty night instantly lose.

The whole no rational mind thing is pretty much mitigated by EAM A+, if not moreso. Having that rank of EAM basically means that in a straight up man-to-man fight with no surprises, you will win, because you are the go to guy when it comes to a melee

Also, Arturia also had invisible air, which looks like a pretty loose interpretation of her cloak of invisibility. Though I could argue that the cloak is pretty emblematic of the crap he pulled with Brynhildr.

The no rational mind thing means that, outside of a straight-up melee, Achilles cannot have any subtlety, at all. Or do anything much else.

... Anyone going into a straight fight with Berserker is, in general, going to seem a bit of an idiot.

Even Ash, with his gloating habits, love of Hannibal Lectures, and general Kick Them While They Are Down-itude would probably try to at least nail Berserker a couple times from the shadows before making himself known.

True Assassin, as a rule, would shun direct combat as much as possible; the only time he'd ever engage an enemy Servant in melee combat would be if he had a staggering advantage of some sort.

Speaking of True Assassin, if anyone's curious appearancewise he somewhat resembles Altair—albeit given a makeover in the style of Fate Stay Night Assassins◊ and lacking some of his stuff.

Okay, here's what I'm envisioning Brahmastra being like. The object is selected, Ash gains a sort of Battle Aura on half his body (usually the side of the arm he's using to fire), states his target, then the object proceeds to zip off like a tiny spanish mouse on a caffeine high riding a greased lightning bolt, creating an expanding trail of fiery destruction until it reaches its target, upon which the immediate area around them explodes, decimating roughly a city block (give or take the relative size of the object, with larger objects like coins and bricks yielding very large but not ridiculous explosions and things like flower petals yielding more modest ones) and creating a giant pillar of blue fire at the point of impact.

How's that?

Not cheap, but not exactly expensive either. It's moderate, ranging to moderately high. And it has a relatively high cooldown period compared to other N Ps.

Relatively speaking. Brahmastra must be invoked, fired, then withdrawn and invoked again when firing successive shots. It's a cooldown of a few seconds, probably between 4 and 5, maybe 6 to 7. Like having to holster your gun before firing another shot.

In video game terms, that's actually a semi-reasonable cooldown period. Only semi-, given just how powerful it is.

That said, this isn't a videogame.

Hmmm, perhaps you're right. Then again, it is his only NP. How about increasing cooldown between shots to 10-12 seconds and leave it at that? Cooldown is constant regardless of projectile.

If you're going to have to use 2 A++ N Ps in rapid succession, then you've already lost.

And suer, I'll swap Sigurd for someone else momentarily, if you don't like him.
