I didn't even have to pothole it. evil grin

This could be interesting, as many want a Duck Hunt game. The perks of it being downloadable and featuring Megaloceros only make it more appealing.

[up]And as an easter egg, whenever you fail to shoot all deers... Hazama/Terumi pops up and laughs at you like that Duck Hunt dog.

Because we as humans are carnivores and hunters. Some people find the thrill of hunting, of pitting animal against man, to be thrilling. And doing it in a game means that you don't kill any animals.

[up] Yeah, well, you get that sorta thrill form other sorts of hunting games too. I think the question is why people play things so... Mundane.

I just hope that the game involves a bonus mode where you play as Sol Badguy and get a triple score multiplier for burning down the forest.

Guys, it's probably gonna be a bit more mundane than that.

Replace the dog with Terumi and it sure won't fail.

For why people like things so "mundane".....the actual term is realistic. Shooting something that is a representation of something you know is not real and never will be is not the same thrill as shooting something that is a represenation of something, and moreover is actually meant to represent it. It helps immersion.

Shooting a ten-headed cyberdemon will always be more fun than shooting an innocent herbivore to me.

Actually, I thought this would be about some kind of portable HUD headset thingy for use when hunting actual deer in real life...

^^Yeah, that works better than my saying "mundane."

Of course, they're going to keep things sane.
