Ah, I see.
So, for the Game Masters out there: How would you stat up a Merfolk (amphibious variety) race? Would they get their own track, or just the standard race block? Would you allow a player to play one if they asked?
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-New DLC is out. I'm feeling kind of lukewarm about this one.
I like it. It's a nice way out of races being stat bonuses and penalties.
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-Thing is that they're not full-fledged races, though - you pick them up as you go through the game. I am particularly worried about the level of munchkinism that the Winterkissed track might enable.
I haven't done the maths, but it seems like taking your two highest stat mods down by one to increase your saving throws by two is pretty fair.
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-Ah, didn't notice that bit.
Yeah, they aren't flat bonuses. It all evens out.
Except the first one, which just plain sucks.

Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-I feel like that would be better at higher levels, especially if wisdom is a dump stat.
Live, thread! Live!
I've got weird-character-concept fever. The flexibility of this system? Not helping.
So far:
Earth Titan thing- Success! Human, Barbarian. Multiclass into Earth Elemental. Take Juggernaut as one of the feats. Overall effect is a huge thing that may have once been a man but is now definitely not, erring closer these days to an incarnation of nature.
Spymaster- failure. The concept seems easy, but the specifics get ever-more complicated. Maybe some new material will come out to help.

Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-I have to say, I'm starting to appreciate how easy character creation is in Legend more and more every time I look at any other system's sheets. I'm trying to put together a Call of Cthulhu character right now for shits and giggles and MY GOD THERE ARE SO MANY SKILLS WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SKILLS.
New track and new mook type. Myriads may require a bit of experimentation to get the balance right, but once you tweak them properly you get to throw your players against a colossal horde of enemies without having to write a single stat sheet!
Here's an idea - anyone want to try to come up with a bestiary of some kind while we wait for the monster guide to come out? I've gotten way too reliant on the mook generator and I need some new ideas. My submission:
Wyrmling Abomination
- Level 8 Dragon / Elementalist (Acid) / Demo Man / Arcane Secrets
- AC: 22
- BAB: 8/3
- KOM: STR
- KDM: CHA
- HP: 146
- Str 14, Dex 10, Con 18, Int 14, Wis 10, Cha 14
- Attacks:
- Weapon: Claws
- Attack Mod: 12/7
- Damage: 2d6+4
- Range: Melee
- Heals Wyrmling Abomination for half of damage dealt
- Feats:
- The Earth Cracks
- Wings of War
- On A Pale Horse
- Reaver (supplement)
- Towering (supplement)
- Tracks:
- Elementalist (Acid)
- Acid Burst
- Forced Vulnerability
- Elemental Boost
- Demo Man
- Smells like Victory
- Flash-Bang
- Sticky Bomb
- Arcane Secrets
- The First Trick (Hungry Shadows)
- Space, Discontent (Lung-Breaker)
- Dweomertide (Spellbreaker, Reweave)
- Dragon
- Agility
- Vitality
- True Dragon
- Elementalist (Acid)
Imagine a massive, pulsating lump of living flesh. Now imagine it's still oozing blood and mucus and pus. Now imagine that all of that is highly toxic. Now imagine that this lump of flesh is shaped like a very angry, very hungry dragon. Now imagine that you've just woken it up.
Are you saying I should avoid punching it, Jacobs?
:smug:Wrong thread.

Nah, just saying that if that thing ever went up against a monk, the monk should probably worry, since it's all corrosive and such.
:smug:Ooh, good idea.

I'm currently trying to figure out a way to create the Domhain Sceal mimics.

Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comIt involves Senseshift Adept and no offence tracks, also DM Fiat.
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-I have to say, the Myriad DLC has been incredibly helpful.
>That feel when THE PERFECT CHARACTER doesn't work with the setting your DM is running
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-Doublepost because new stuff.
I really like this new track. It's sweet.
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-Which one?

Well, I don't think Knight was released when that complaint was made...that said, the Paladin is surprisingly good for a "just hit it" build.
