[up] I'd rate it above Johnny Test, Problem Solvers and Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, but below Adventure Time, Amazing World of Gumball and Regular Show.

I find the show, like a lot on Cartoon Network, as really... just there. It's not grabbing my attention, but I can't exactly say that I'm repulsed by the mere thought of its existence to not watch it; it just doesn't hook me in in any sort of way. It doesn't help that what small glimpse I did see of it when I had Cartoon Network on in the background looked boringly uninteresting at best.

With that said, nah, it's not very surprising that the show got renewed for a second season, or that it grabs relatively good ratings, even with the knowledge that the character gets a lot of hate. 11 year olds like dumb, nonsensical, and often incredibly strange things. Oh well. It's not like you can't turn the TV off or change the channel when it comes on, right?

Didn't surprise me in the least when that Robot Chicken parody turned up, though I suspected they would be doing the same characters with the typically dirtied-up innuendo.

That's another thing about this show in stark contrast to the bigger shows on CN: there's barely anything radar-y.

I remember when people were complaining about this show on this thread before the show even aired.

Reminder for the next time you hear about a new TV show: don't say its going to ruin the network until it PREMIERES!

I think it's just corny enough to make it past my "WTF this is crap" filter.

I just looked at a Facebook post for it, and it said that in tomorrow's episode, Dave Grohl, along with Olivia Munn and Tony Hale, will be guest-starring. I think I now may give it a try.

It's a combination of animation and live-action, in a Stylistic Suck format. The main characters (aside from Nerville) are actual pieces of fruit with the actors' eyes and mouths superimposed. The visual effects are all CG/animated.

He might have been familiar with the web series.

Mistook this for an update on its current status (i. e. returning, cancelled).
