...Anyway, while we can speculate that man is making the woman much more worse than she actually was, we can't ever know that, so there is not really a point in that tongue

Also, while I hate categorizing people by their culture, its true that cultural shock can be raaaather great. Again, we don't know.

Anyhoo, Kino, you are late at lack of faith joke tongue Its kind of disturbing how many people are willing to make star wars joke when someone has died just because it involves star wars.

Don't you know? Merely the mention of Star Wars had them forced into it.

Annebeeche:

I am having difficulty believing that anything he said about the woman's violent behavior was true so long as there is absolutely no examination of the woman's background given.

It's the fucking Daily Telegraph, what do you expect? An in-depth psychological analysis of both parties involved? If they did that, they would get sued for causing millions of people's heads to explode simultanuously.

Not saying that what she is done is a justification for murder, but seriously, destroying the collection was simply the last straw. As been said several times, bad situation all around.

Have no idea why they did not simply divorce, though

If we disagree, that much, at least, we have in common

From what I've read, most abusive relationships aren't constantly bad - if you threaten to leave an abusive partner, they'll often break down into crying and how they can't live without you and promise not to do it again. And then they'll be nice for a while, before the abuse gradually starts to creep back in.

It's why so many people have trouble leaving abusive situations; abusers can be good at playing the devoted partner when they need to.

After the case Senior Investigating Officer Andy Tattersall from Greater Manchester Police said: 'This is a tragic case where a young woman's life has been taken at the hands of her husband.

'Unfortunately, we may never know exactly what happened that morning, but I hope that la Touche's sentence is of some small comfort to Pornpilai's family and friends.

'La Touche will now also have to live the rest of his life with the awful knowledge that he is responsible for killing his wife.'

... I feel rather annoyed by these last three paragraphs.

"Here's a dysfunctional couple in which the wife has reportedly been engaged in psychological torture of the husband. He then killed her. This is a tragic case of a man killing his wife. Our condolences to her family. He's such an asshole and we hope he suffers."

Little bit... one-sided in the conclusion there, guys?

Please don't feed trolls. Doing so encourages them to hang around.

Of course abusers can't live without their partners; they're viruses. They'd rather not abuse themselves, which makes enough sense, so they'll prey on others, or take out their insecurities on the people closest to them.

That, and the abused is usually *

someone that needs someone else as well, but for more supportive reasons.

Don't know if it's even possible, but I would've hired someone to give as estimate of how much the toys or collectables were, then sue her for the amount. Regardless if you can even do that, the husband should've grabbed a bunch of his friends, loaded her crap in a van or truck, ship it all back to where she came from, then hand her a plane ticket telling her, "There wasn't enough room in the truck for you, so you'll have to fly separately."
