Number twenty-six shows them attacking and their collars are clearly visible. Here's a cropped and resized version:
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - Camacan
Wikipedia says hyenas are genetically closer to felines than canines.
How about something of Sykes and his dobermans?
(On a sidenote, how distinct is this from Angry Guard Dog?)

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartThe trope doesn't actually require a canine. That being said, it seems completely unrelated.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanIf it doesn't require actual canines, I'm inclined to prefer something that isn't a dog over something that is (all else being equal).
Two shots of Ace:[1]◊ and [2]◊.

Fight smart, not fair.If it doesn't require canines, it really ought to be renamed.

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartThe name is meant to contrast with the trope Right-Hand Cat, which also is not meant to be taken literally. Both are named after the most iconic examples. But I digress; what does everybody think of the pictures posted so far?
@Deboss Unfortunately, Ace the bat-hound isn't an example - this trope is about a villain's pet.

Then the trope really needs renaming.
For now, I'd like to think Sykes and his dobermans do the trick, even if they're literally of dogs; it's the name, more than the pic, that gives the wrong first impression. (I probably might not have assumed the current pic to be a dog if not for the trope name.)

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartA trope is not renamed unless there is evidence of widespread misuse; that is not the case as far as I can tell by looking at the usage counts. Conveniently (or not), literal interpretations of the trope name are usually also legitimate examples, such as the Oliver And Company example you posted.
Which does seem to be the clearest one so far; any others?

It is hard to "prove" one way or another, but it makes sense simply from looking at the name of this trope, and looking at the way poor naming results in users getting the wrong impressions about many other tropes.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartBump...
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartIs there any final consensus on this? There are several legitimate proposals.
Crowner?
Crowner sounds good.
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Blank crowner's hooked; start the dogpile.
Bump for votes...right now Sykes' dogs are the only one in the green.
Aaaand we're done. The new pic is up, potholed, and tagged; locking up.
Crown Description:
Right Hand Attack Dog
As much as I like Wakfu, the current picture is meaningless without context. Anyone have any other suggestions?
If we're staying within the same series, here's the same Right-Hand Attack Dog with his master.
Another good example would be The Joker's pair of hyenas, though I'm not if there are any pictures that show them attacking rather than being a Right-Hand Cat substitute.
