Episode 11:
- I liked Onodera's casual wear.
- It's Chitoge's birthday, and all are invited. Except Shu. Well, he'll just invite himself, then.
- Nice present, Claude. Now watch as it gathers dust...
- Important things have been said. And more important things are about to be said. What a troublesome promise...

I think I've said this before, but Kana Hanazawa is making Onodera really adorable.
She'd better. It's her only personality trait.
It's funny. I was introducing this series to a friend whom really likes Shrinking Violet characters and even he jokingly portrays Onodera is a yandere that wants to kill all of Raku's other romantic interests.
Mind you, he hasn't met Marika yet.
I wonder if anime-only watchers caught the single thing that seemed off this episode — Ruri's sudden dislike for Shuu. Because if you go from last week's episode to this one, they've barely interacted at all.
Can't really fault SHAFT for skipping those chapters though. ^^; Have to move the plot along!

Ruri? Don't you mean Tsugumi?
If I didn't know better this episode would leave me very excited and puzzled.
And yeah, oh god someone please give Onodera some interesting character trait! She desperately needs it.
Jeez, does half the cast from now on have some sort of nebulous "childhood friend" and a key to match or something?
(I'm half expecting Shuu to also have a locket, just like Raku.)

You have no idea...
Official version of last chapter of Ruri's great-grandfather arc up. In a way, the ending gives me a little hope that progress will be made. Events sometimes happen and don't snap back.
Episode 12 is out.
So yeah it's all still as contrived as I remember. But it's still fun.
And ugh next episode the second most annoying character is going to be introduced. It'll take all my willpower to keep watching.
I like how they have Marika on the end card when she's about to be introduced.
Episode 12:
- So, they were childhood friends. Doesn't make it less easier in the slightest.
- Shu's no perv. He's a clown more than anything.
- Marika appearing in the end card. What a way to say to me "She's up next!"
Chapter out. Filler.
I'll admit, that cubed egg had me giggling a little
This was actually a pretty nice chapter. I like watching Chitoge trying so hard, she's so cute. And the conclusion was great too. Cocking with love s the key. But dammit Chitoge, just say it already!
The cube egg was funny indeed.
Why is anyone friends with Marika is beyond me. She's so obnoxious.
Because her behavior is "cute" and "quirky" not "incredibly alienating" of course.
Marika is the character equivalent of filler. Her best bits are when she is being manipulative, which wasn't the case here. Although she was basically an excuse for Chitoge to do her thing, so it worked.
I liked Marika having a puffer fish license.
Yeah, the cube egg was great.
Especially the Flat "What" reaction it elicited, that was perfect
Chapter out.
Oh come on man, at the very least Chitoge is your friend and you've admitted as much. Why would she be surprised that she'd visit you when you're in the hospital?
Maybe surprised she visited him on the LEDGE of the hospital window?
"She kept worrying all the time I was in hospital, made everyone I know visit me and then climbed to my fourth floor window in the middle of the night to feed me apples. I wonder what it could possibly mean?"
if Raku gets any more dense he'll collapse into a black hole of obviousnesses.
But this was a pretty cute chapter, and really show how far they have come. Man, Chitoge is adorable.
I wonder what she wanted to ask him for in the end.
Yay color pages next week!

Episode 13: I had a feeling Chitoge and Onodera weren't going to be the girl in the picture, but Marika's Raku's fiance!? Hm, I wonder what kind of person she is...
And that's promise number 3. Is there going to be more convenient promises and keys in the future?
Sort of? It's been hinted that there's a fourth and final girl that was the promise girl, but only Marika remembers her and some people have taken her reluctance to talk about it as a hint that she might be dead or something.
Yeah, that was quite all right. Plenty feels at the end, no strained comedy. Yeah, this was an okay chapter.
