I'm not sold on your argument... For one, you can clearly see the body that used to be the monster prior the "coming out from nowhere" part, and the fact that it doesn't feel "right" compared to the rest of the game pretty much is the trope. You might argue that the pic is a bit too literal, so what we should do is maybe add a first panel with the regular gameplay prior the boss battle, but aside for that, it doesn't look bad enough to pull, so I'm calling Keep Until Better Image Suggested (Keep Until Better Image Suggestion)on it.

"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".Keep Until Better Image Suggested
(I feel so good writing that. It's a beautiful word.)
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Honestly, I don't think it's even possible to lampshade or have someone talking about the Giant Space Flea unless it's a webcomic that is Genre Savvy about TV Tropes, and actually read about the article.
In other words: The point of the trope is that it's designed to be JAFAAC. Take Our Word for It has to apply, because it just comes out of nowhere without anyone suspecting it to happen.
Seconding the Keep Until Better Image Suggested. The fact that you can see the giant worm popping out of the guy's body makes it not JAFAAC because it implies the "coming out of freaking nowhere" bit of the trope. It's not the best explanation, but it's not bad enough to pull.

Alt account of Angeldog 2437.Liking the Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
I don't know anything about whatever that's from, but it looks like the confrontation with the bad guy ended in the revelation that his body was a puppet for some alien thing — likely out of nowhere.
Infinite Tree: an experimental story+1 for Keep Until Better Image Suggested
What about first having a bunch of frames of the normal game, and then finishing with this, to show that it's out of nowhere?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I looked up the game in question on youtube, and let me say that, it's... Busy. I'm not sure anymore that's worth doing.
"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".The trope isn't about busy or not. It's that "this weird thing came out of nowhere, and has almost nothing to do with the story beforehand". So it doesn't matter what the other screens show, as long as they clearly show a setup other than the example of the trope.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. Here's a nice-looking first panel◊. Interestingly, if you watch this video around 7:30, the game itself tells you "this is the final boss". Maybe we can go with a screenshot of that with the caption being "That's so out of nowhere that even the game itself feels the need to explain what's going on"?
"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".I've put togheter a first draft:
"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".
I would prefer another picture or two of the normal game, and make the middle panel the last panel.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Tomorrow I'll see what I can do.
"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".Here I am. So, what I actually did was taking a whole bunch of screens◊ and put them in a panel, 1 through 12. What I'm asking is to take a look a them, and then choose like 2 or 3 of those, then we can put them togheter as a single image to use on the page. Personally I'd go with 9-10-11, (I can remove the tank from pic 9 if that's distracting).
"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".I actually think four panels would do better, going with 1, 2, 3, and 11.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. We might even do that, since the page description is pretty long anyway and the image wouldn't clash at all.
"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".And we can crop them if needed.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Keep Until Better Image Suggested?
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Keep Until Better Image Suggestion. We came up with this term because of the allarming pull rate of the last weeks, it pretty much reads as "The image is not perfect, but it's not worth pulling either, especially if there is no replacement".
"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".Basically a shorthand for a motion to keep image, but with a willingness to commence image hunt.
So. 4-6-1-11? It's kinda harder than I thought, since the game is quite unusual in its premise.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.I think the eleventh picture is all that's really needed.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about. No, because that doesn't say "the hunters you don't see in this frame were normal humans with no hint of those beforehand".
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I think it works okay with the caption.
Rhymes with "Protracted."
This seems like a textbook example of just a face and a caption. We've got a guy armed with what looks like a rocket launcher, and some worm thing. The caption says he spends most of his time fighting poachers, but how am I supposed to know that without it? I mean, for one, a rocket launcher isn't the weapon that comes to mind when I think of combatting poachers.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."
