Is this an Unfortunate Implication?

Who says War can't be female? As long as she's characterised differently to the War in Good Omens, it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe your version could be a Hot-Blooded girl with a Hair-Trigger Temper, the kind of person who finds any excuse to pick a fight (like how people find many reasons to go to war, and besides, that kind of personality tends to be associated with male characters so it'd be a nice Gender Flip). Or she could be a cold, ruthless Genius Bruiser who comes up with the team's battle plans.

As for Famine being a woman, I don't think you have anything to worry about, as long as you don't make her vain or neurotic. I agree with Sidewinder that it would be a good idea to have two women in the team though.

What's the point in giving up when you know you'll never stop anyway?

@OP,

Not really. I don't think I would ever have made that logical leap without you pointing it out.

I mean, is it possible someone will make the thought process jump? Sure. Most people won't, methinks. And if the people who do try to "call you" on it, most other people will be reasonable enough to know that it's an absurd thing you didn't intend.

I am now known as Flyboy.

The thought never occurred to me until you said it, but now that I think about it, even if you never explicitly draw that comparison in the story I think it would be a very interesting thing to consider. Eating disorders are a severe problem, so it could be seen as an abstract aesop.

If you try to avoid any Unfortunate Implications a person might come up with, you'll drive yourself crazy and you won't accomplish a thing. People will come up with a bunch of 'implications' that may sorta make sense of you tilt your head a little or only make sense to them.

It's good that you are aware of the possibility of Unfortunate Implications because some people just ignore any possibility that they can offend (*cough* Twilight) but if you're aware that you shouldn't make all the blondes ditzy or all the guys perverts and stuff like that you'll be fine.
