Rec's gaming habits, approaching Pro's ability and experience. I'm not a pro gamer, but at the same time I've kicked some serious butt so Rec doesn't really fit.

Present day. Present time. Hahahaha!trololol
I definitely complain about excessive streamlining in games, but don't really meet the rest of the retrogamer criteria.
Aaand don't really meet any other criteria, except for probably spending more time on gaming forums than actual gaming like the /v/irgin thing.
Oh and the has a life criteria ofc.

i know this has nothing to do with this thread But why the fuck was there a pony vs pony battle is magic advert?
Oh Vorpy, you and your shenanigans.
As for myself, I'm probably a mix of Rec / Pro. (with a splash of Bro because of my love for 360 FPS's...)

Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Retro gamer. I only own one console after the Dreamcast.
And I owned a hacked PSP with emulators. Which is after the Dreamcast but it's a handheld.
AND my favorite 2D game is Castlevania IV. followed by Contra... ...am I a walking sterotype?

Feel free to vandalize me.I'm a fatlus, nothing I can do to convince myself otherwise.
Although I'm actually pretty thin.
Bleye knows Sabers.Yes.
I sorta wish I had the nostalgia factor to let me play older games. Then I could appreciate the older games more (besides the old Pokemon games: Blue, Stadium... )

Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Come to think, there's also a degree of pirate in me, since I use emulators, but only if they're pre-sixth generation at the moment to avoid taking legal risks, although I guess the case of the Game Boy Advance is different.
I guess I'm kind of an elitist too, because I consider PC to have superior performance to the console, but I'm not necessarily one, because I don't hate on consoles, would much rather avoid Console Wars (and PC Vs Console wars for that matter, although companies should actually TRY to make a worthwhile port [I'm looking at you, Ubisoft!]), I'm not a "sequel snob", and I know full well that the best things out for PC don't even tap the full potential of the latest PC's capabilities (for example, Doom, Deus Ex, Team Fortress 2, Minecraft, many Indie games).

I now go by Graf von Tirol.Hmm... I think I'm mostly Rec Gamer, with delicate touches of Retro, Pro and Assclown: I'm not exactly the best player around and while I like some old games they tend to be so painfully difficult for me that I largely suck at them. Also, there are my so pathetic enemies at Soul Calibur III and I simply cannot resist not to smirk or make a snarky comment. Then again, I play for fun.
How do lizards fly?Piratefag until I get a job.
Similarly here, Even If I don't know how to pirate.
I have a few Pro and Rec traits, with none of the negatives.
Watch SymphogearAshamedly, I used to be a /v/irgin back in middle school. Now I'm a cross between rec and piratefag. Gaming's no longer my go-to hobby and I simply don't pay for something I can get easily for free and with no reprecussion.

Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Piratefag (no studies + no jobs + economydown the shitter = money for nothing), a little bit or Pro/Rec.

So many here label themselves as Pro!
Honestly, I think I'm a Rec, with some shades of Retro and Pro. I don't hate on today's games and I'm nowhere good enough to be considered a pro.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0I don't really seem to fit into any of these gamer types that much, I have maybe one trait from any one of them.
A cross between the Rec and Pro, with a bit of Retro Gamer and Elitist.
The sin of silence when they should protest makes cowards of men.
