Exactly. There's never been a perfect timeline for this show so they could literally move him to whatever age they want. Of all the things to keep continuity on...

So, I'm not really sure what I think of the clans being turned into homicidal douchebags. I mean it kinda screws up the movie, but it also kinda doesn't. Merida did essentially promise to wed one of the boys in her own time, and it is understandable that the clans would consider it time when her father died. Though mass murder seems like taking things a bit too far.

EDIT: Young MacGuffin's lost some weight I see XD. And again, Merida is badass and clearly a better fit for Once than Elsa and Anna, as awesome as they were

Damn, Zelena sure is easy to bribe now that she's pregnant. I wonder what Dark Swan wants to pull with her though...

EDIT: Ok I just wanted to add I LOVE Merida. "Let's kick some arse" indeed ^^

And the CGI bear is terrifying. And maybe not in a good way. her jaw looks unhinged.

So Rumple may have a point about Emma making a mistake making him a hero.

He's something that's never existed: a living former Dark One.

Even if Emma plays a different game then he does, he'll always be in her head (in more ways than one as we've been seeing) because as a former Dark One, he knows how someone like that thinks.

There's an implication that all Dark Ones run on the same rules, in a sense being controlled by the power as opposed to controlling it. Rumple is finally free of that, and he's very dangerous as a result.....

Of course, it's entirely possible that Emma wants him doing that. We can't say for sure. At least not yet.

So I think that next week's two hour event will finally show how Emma embraced the darkness, but in the same space show how she'll...lose?

Well I think it's the midseason finale. It's all coming close to it. Either she'll succeed and the second half of the season will show the heroes trying to stop her, or she'll lose and they'll deal with the fallout of it.

But really Merlin? Making the grail into the sword to cut away the bonds of immortality? How exactly was that supposed to work.

...Did Arthur just make The Dip? Or was I the only one that aimlessly wandered into the that line of thought when he melted that helmet?

Also I kind of want to steal Nimueh's mask. It's very pretty ^^

Yes, Snow was rather dumb this episode. Also...the writers seem to be stuck with what to do with Zelena since's she's been futzing about off screen until now and WHAM she's Arthur's....something now. Anti-Merlin? I'm sure he'll realize soon enough that she's a whiny git and get sick of her really soon XD

There are probably two more episodes before the midseason hiatus after next week's two-hour event. Once Upon a Time breaks its seasons into two equal halves of 11 episodes each.

Season 3, episode 19. Zelena wants to reverse time.

Isn't weird that Rumple is the only Dark One with his own special outfit? All the other ones just use Vortigaunt's cloak and mask.

Why does Regina threaten everyone with fireballs and then rarely use them?

I mean, dang it, all these flying monkeys, I'm like, "Fireball! FIREBALL!"

With Zelena she's all like, "The one thing I needed. Someone to destroy." But rather than throw more fireballs, they just throw catty looks at her. What happened to the Evil Queen of Season 1, someone ticked her off, WHAM, heart ripped out, someone stepped on her foot, BAM, magic'd away!

It's like Zelena has just stolen the power balance, that fight with Regina was one-sided as hell. Season 1/early Season 3 Regina wouldn't take any of that. Evil Queen!Regina would've handed Zelena her jolly rancher-colored ass!

And I mean I hate this, because Regina's always the first one to go, "Enough of this!" but then Zelena just walks all over her, paralyzes the group, breaks into houses, threatens children? What, what is this?

Actually I find it funny how Zelena doesn't use fireballs. She's the one who uses them in her movie, not the Evil Queen.

Just discovered that yep, episode 11 is the midseason finale.

The first episode back (which airs in March) is the 100th episode.

They are being evasive, but, to be fair, there isn't much of a reason for Mulan to exactly name names anyway.

On thing that confused me... Ok, they explained why Ruby was back in the EF. But, last I remember of Mulan, she was running with the Merry Men in Storybrooke. When did that change?

Only on this show do you have Red Riding Hood, Mulan, King Arthur, Merida and The Wicked Witch of the West chasing after an enchanted helmet.

I think the idea was that Mulan, for whatever reason, left the Merry Men before the second curse hence why she's still in the EF.

They were pretty vague about the object of Mulan's affection, but it's kind of hard to imagine Mulan actively going up to Aurora and being like "Hey, I have something to tell you; I'm totally in lurv with your husband. Nice seeing you by the way." Hence the assumption that she's in love with Aurora.

And the show was totally baiting Brave Warrior, though there's no telling if it it'll actually happen in the future or not.
