I hope this means a Jak 4 further down the line.
Dreamkeepers Prelude, check it out!Now all we need is a Ratchet And Clank Anthology, and the HD PS 2 Mascot Gaming Collection shall be complete!
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle. It's things like this that make me want a PS 3...
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter! Finally, I forgot about this.
Definitely gonna grab this. Never got around to the second two.
Easy street has no parking signs.Oh man, this sounds amazing.
The original trilogy is where it's at. The racing game was fun, but the "4th" game that was released was a bit too funky, a lot a lot of charm the trilogy had.
This is awesome.
So, out two days ago. Anyone else have it?
I haven't played Jak 1 in years, but getting back to it is great. Great memories of being ten. Gonna go through 'em in order. Currently in the Forbidden Jungle. Some of the mechanics might feel a little too standard in this day and age if you're not a huge fan of 3D platforming, but it's still a very well designed game. Still pretty nice to look at too. The character animation is still top notch.

Quite interesting (and funny) video. Plus we get to see Andy Gavin & Jason Rubin on camera discussing the game while playing it, which is very nice.

You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here. So, is it even possible to get gold in races in Jak 2? I never let go from the gas pedal, and turned as best that I could, but only got bronze.
It's possible, but it's tough.
Jak 2's biggest issue is it requires pin point accuracy with very floaty controls. It's the same reason I just skipped it and went to 3.
nyo ho hoSince this topic is back, I might as well post that a PS Vita version is coming out in June.

HELL YES
Now's it's Shulk Time!Sweet jesus, I might have to get a PS Vita. I still have the PS 2 games, and the revival of this topic has made me want to go back and play them.
Hmmm... all games save the 1st one are playable in progressive widescreen... but I want to play J&D games anywhere...
Are they porting Jak X as well?
On an unrelated note, the camera bug in TLF made me buy the PS 2 version.
Oooooh. That's definitely going to be on my list for my Vita. I need a few more games for that. Maybe I'll be able to persuade my girlfriend to try it out, too.
I guess we could go... wherever we please.I've been playing my PS 2 copy of Jak 3 a lot recently, trying to get all the orbs.
I started off missing like 38 orbs tonight. Now I am only missing 9.
I'm pretty sure it'd be from a minigame - I followed an Orb-collection guide tonight to help me spot the orbs I have missed throughout the years, so I'm pretty damn sure I have all the free-floating orbs. The issue is that I have completed pretty much every minigame in the game - all the Haven City terminals, all the Wasteland Idols (including all of Kleiver's challenges and races), the Sattelite Game, the Eco Grid Game and as of tonight, the Spargus Turret game.
What am I missing? I've even done the Jetboard minigame.
Can this be turned into a "regular" Jak & Daxter thread?
Possibly.
I never played Jak and Daxter until the HD collection. I played all of them and from what I remember my favorite game was Jak and Daxter since it was a platformer. I did like the others but I wish they played more like the first.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureSo is there any truth the rumor that The Last Of Us started out as a new Jak game but they changed it to an original story? Because if so, then man, this series would have gone pitch-black dark in the end.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatFrom my understanding they were started development of a Next Gen Jak game but then they decided to scrap it in it's entirety.
FUCK YES!!!
