Just got a Playstation 3. Need game recommendations.

So, just ordered a PS 3 from Amazon (yaaaaaay), and now I'm looking for some games to play. Already have FF XIII, LBP 2, Ico+Sot C, Valkyria Chronicles, etc. on my to-play-list. But I need...something more. :O

First game that comes to my mind: Demon's Souls.

inFAMOUS 1 & 2 are also really good.

Ratchet and Clank:Tool of destruction and A Crack in Time are fun too.

Well, the only game I currently have that isn't on your to-play list is Infamous 2. I also plan to get Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and Batman: Arkham City, but I'm not sure if those are your kinda thing.

Ooh, definitely thinking about getting Infamous 1 & 2. Not too into fighting games, though, so I'll probably skip out on UMvsC3.

Uncharted 1 and 2 and maybe Star Ocean: The Last Hope.

Also, I guess just for reference, the other future games I'm looking forward to are Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, The Last Guardian, and Tales of Graces F.

Besides the ones that have already been mentioned, I'd say Demon's Souls, Disgaea 3, Disgaea 4, God of War 3, Little Big Planet 1 and 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, SOCOM 4, and Yakuza.

God of War 3 sounds nice. Enjoyed the first 2. Might pick up Origins as well.

Uncharted 2, Vanquish and Red Dead Redemption. Those are the only ones I currently have. They're all very good games.

Not much of an FPS fan either, btw. =d

Definitely picking up Uncharted, if only to see what all the fuss is about.

Yeah, pick up Red Dead, it's very fun. And Fallout New Vegas is RPG enough for one to forget it also a FPS.

Metal Gear Solid 4 for one thing.

Also, Warhammer 40000 Space Marine because obligatory recommendation is obligatory. Though if you like hack and slash games you would probably like this.

I'm not sure if you're only looking for exclusives, or what, but if you aren't try Red Dead Redemption, it's a very good game. Though the visuals are a bit off on the PS 3 from what I hear.

If you haven't played the Tales series before, I'd personally recommend at least giving it a try. (Although perhaps the 3DS remake of Abyss would be a better choice for a starting point, since it's already been released in North America before so you can get a feel for what it's like beforehand.)

Non-exclusives are perfectly fine. I dunno about MGS 4. I'll probably pick it up eventually, but only after playing the rest of the games in the series. :B

MGS 1 is availible on the PSN and 2 and 3 are getting an HD remasters soon.

The latter is Cyber Connect 2 while the form is Platinum Games.

Of course they'll be just as good as everything else they make.

Just saying them as a recommendation for future games on the PS3.

The main thing that suck Lair was control issues. I don't know much else about it, except that thar there be dragons.

If you're a fighting game buff, I recommend either of the Blaz Blue games, Super Street Fighter IV, or the new Mortal Kombat.
