There are two students: Jake and Howard. Jake is a bubbly and cheerful guy who tries to look at the good in every situation, while Howard is a cynical grouch who tends to hyperfixate on the negatives in every situation. One day, the two are chosen to learn magic to ward off their hometown from an Ancient Evil. Their relationship starts off acrimonious, but they eventually mend their relationship, and pretty soon they manage restore the magic that the town once had.

Adelle, the owner of the local diner, sells steak that's absolutely terrible and there are rumours that it's not actually beef but something worse like rat meat. Then, the steak comes alive and starts attacking Adelle and her customers.

A possibly bisexual girl loves to hang out in the forest and looking at animals. The animals don't necessarily share the sentiment, and some even attack her. Because of her obliviousness, people not close friends with her imply that calling her a beast is an insult to beasts.

In the event someone does realize the creature is dangerous, it is able to use its charming cuteness as a last resort to make people think otherwise before eating them.
Luisa was originally an ordinary girl in an orphanage until her foster parents raised her to believe in Nazi ideology. Enlisting within a terrorist group that still believed in Nazism, Luisa rose through the ranks until she became their cold and sadistic leader, even coming up with a song that the troops sing to showcase their Undying Loyalty.
