I'm going to use exactly one of these as a game illustration and I'm utterly unable to decide which one would be best, so I intend to gather some random opinions. (No, they're not by me.)

Green Tea

Crookhey Hall

They have completely different 'feels' to me. I like them both, but I'm having trouble coming up with a situation that one wouldn't be a better fit than the other. Green Tea is very peaceful and serene, albeit weird; Crookhey Hall is chaotic and rather disturbing.

They're both rather creepy. I will agree that the latter has a more overtly chaotic, "bad stuff is happening" feel to it.

Well... Madrugada is right, they are very different, so it's difficult to choose one over the other. But if I had to, I'd probably go with Green Tea.

Both, however, are awesome. Excellent advertising material for your game.

I'll have to go Crookney Hall. It's a lot easier on my eyes and not so abstract.

I'm gonna go with Green Tea. It feels like an area that I could explore in a video game, and seems a bit more "out there" in terms of visuals. I'm not much in the way of art appreciation, though, so YMMV.

Crookhey Hall by a long shot.

Green Tea too. It's more video gaming and a little more focused.

I like Crookhey Hall because it seems more energetic. And freaky.

If your game (???) has a deliberately serious/realistic tone, the latter.

Anything else, the former (Green Tea) is better, and overwhelmingly so.

Depends really on what aesthetic you're going for. Crookhey Hall is easily the more disturbing of the two, but Green Tea is still somewhat creepy while also looking cleaner and more polished.

Interesting. A creepy-weird picture fits better with the overall game, but a pastoral picture fits better with that particular scene. Perhaps I'll need to include both after all.
