Unfortunately, it's a Single Prop Crowner. Those are only supposed to have one yes-or-no question.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Do fan works count as sourced works as long as they're in the proper folder? For purposes of this crowner as people seem confused on that one.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI would assume that they do count as proper examples since they happen in a work of fiction.
Fan works are sourced works.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.By the way, Cider in post 26. We have Who Would Win, for just talking or speculating on random match-ups people want to talk about.
Wait, we did have it. It had an archive page, as well. What happened to it?

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Possibly cut for sparking arguments?
Huh? That seems to be Comically Missing the Point. If you didn't want arguments you probably shouldn't have had a debate page in the first place.
Why don't we find a fight web site and make them our unofficial affiliate through the Ultimate Showdown Of Ultimate Destiny page? Or just suggest people use web sites the page already links to?
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackThe trope is when the meme is deliberately used or alluded to in a work. We do tropes.
In this corner, we have: Fan speculation on the outcome of a battle between two or more fictional or nonfictional entities.
In this corner, we have: An honest but possibly humorous attempt to determine the outcome of a battle between two or more fictional or nonfictional entities.
If post 2 indicates what definition it would have as an objective concept - Deadliest Warrior, Celebrity Deathmatch, and the like - that seems to me to be a pretty substantial shift away from "a Stock Reference to this tendency of fandom".
I think nrjxll was saying that the other page might have been cut for sparking arguments, not that this one should be. In any case, we don't want arguments, which is why we shouldn't have a debate page.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.@Madrugada: I believe the Who Would Win archive was split due to length, but don't quote me on that.
This is a sinkhole.BTW, if we haven't called the crowner yet, it's pretty clear now.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Would there be any objections to moving the fandom stuff to a Just for Fun page?
Or we could make a wiki for this, if there isn't already.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. That's more work than I think the amount of content is worth, and certainly more than I'm willing to commit to.
I think we should add another option to the crowner: Split off Who Would Win for the thought experiment fans do(for example, here), and Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny for if the fight actually happens.
I think removing an objectively used device from the subjective bin comes first...but maybe more than one of you would disagree.
I think we should make put all the hypothetical matchups on Darth Wiki. Really, it'd be nice to move something there that wasn't a negative opinion complaint, something that could give the place the attention it deserves and because of the negative opinion pages, its curators are already skilled at and used to removing unnecessary debates... we just need to give it a more appropriate Darth Wiki title. Who Would Lose? That sounds good.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackI agree, and luckily it isn't mutually exclusive with the option on the current crowner, cuz we can't add new options to a single-prop.
I think discussion of hypothetical matchups should be done with the discussion page system in some way, not with a Thread Mode wiki page. We don't want to encourage bad habits.

Rhymes with "Protracted."The current crowner is single prop. I can't add anything new to it.
Well the crowner has been running for a while now. Why not remove the subjective banner now, remove all the matchups not sourced and then decide where to put them with a new crowner?
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackI'm all for it.
Rhymes with "Protracted."& Agreed.

Crowner locked and removed per request.
Thanks, but the subjective banner is still on the page, the crowner had decided to remove it.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackThe banner doesn't come down until the page changes have been made.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
Crown Description:
Ultimate Showdown Of Ultimate Destiny has been restricted to In Universe examples only. Is additional action needed? Options are not necessarily mutually exclusive. The related thread for this crowner can be found here.
I think if you want a page for listing random fights fans want to see you should take it You Know The Thing Where and make a new page after this one is cleaned up. Why do we need that page on a sight about documenting story telling tropes anyway. If you just want to talk about who could beat who Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny already has links to several sites dedicated to doing that and I'm sure you can find even more from google's auto complete.
