Well, if it does, at least we can say it didn't shit the bed until late into the show's run.
Let's wait if they can provide a good explanation for this in the long run. I personally don't mind this backstabbing because it has been giving interesting plot points (like Pallad actually acting like the bully he is, Neo Kuroto's shenanigans, etc.), but Masamune, although not really unexpected, wasn't well-explored yet, but gives off a "professional", calculated aura. I see potential in this and I hope it pays off in the end.
... And that's called jazz! This development could be interesting or it could be trash, depends how it plays out. He's very powerful, which possibly just means they'll pull out an Ass Pull to defeat him but it could be interesting. Amusingly, despite how left-field this was, I did see people predicting it.
In theory, Kuroto's level reducing powers should still work on him, but he probably found a way around that as well.
One Strip! One Strip!I think I haven't talked about Amazon 19 but most of the things that happened there have a link with 20 anyway, so here we are.
To begin with, Amazon Alpha koko ni ari!
Sadly, not for long, apparently. His body is falling apart, possibly due to the Amazon cells taking a toll on his human cells. Guess your worries are confirmed, @Silently Honest. At least he gets to be a Handicapped Badass for the time being and we'll possibly find out next week what happened to him and Haruka during these five years. Also Chihiro goes through some torture and spills out that Jin is his father. Somehow..
On another note, Hiroki knew Iyu, meets her and is kinda helping Chihiro with making her rediscover her feelings and revisiting her memories, in a way. And some characters seem to love, or used to love, sweets.
And last, but not least, the Pest Control team revals to Haruka that there is now a mysterious benefactor in the background (possibly his mother Reika), who managed to get a new belt for Haruka. And managed to make me mad, because this reminds me that I have ordered the Omega S.H. Figuarts and then got to learn about New Omega...
... And that's called jazz!Worries?
Also I just realized the ending theme to Amazons, Die Set Down is a play on words. Kamen Rider Amazons finisher the Dai Setsu Dan.
Was probably a little late catching that.

I thought you were worried about Jin not making it to the end of the season alive.
And I've never noticed the Die Set Down wordplay until now, lol
... And that's called jazz!Naw, I was calling out hints laid by trailers and information I had. I mean, you do know what site we're on right?
Seriously though I've haven't considered Jin a hero or even a good guy after episode 2. He was always kind of... amoral.
Yea. I honestly think he was pretty cool (and I still enjoy his appearances, especially transformed), but as a character, I started to find it harder and harder to like him. On the other hand, I had my problems with Haruka's moral inconsistence. But now Haruka has clear objectives, became a good fighter and Jin, well... got completely deranged. He's the kind of character for which one cannot see any other end than death, to be honest.
... And that's called jazz!Double post because Ex-Aid 33 is out.
Good teamwork between Emu and Neo Kuroto. It felt good seeing them having a plan and congratulating each other. It's sad that Masamune has convinced Hiro to join him, though...
And of course, as it was highly anticipated, Kiriya might be returning next week. Maybe Masamune will bring him back just to assure Hiro that he can indeed resurrect people who died in the games. Who knows?
Edit: Two things are bothering me. One: Masamune wants to release KR Chronicle worldwide... where's No Export for You when we need it? Two: since that's going to happen, maybe they could reprogram the game to be online... so you can't pause it?

... And that's called jazz!I can't express my vast dissapproval that you got your sword art online reference in my Kamen Rider.
I'm beside myself.
I know nothing of SAO and I'm now curious about this reference.
... And that's called jazz!I'm not gonna explain the entire concept of the show and the spoilers just so you can get a reference that I mistakenly believed you were making.
I haven't seen 33 yet actually, Excite hasn't posted about it.
There was an SAO reference?
Oh, I think I get it. You're saying that you think Dan is like Kayaba Akihiko?
Anyway....DAMMIT HIRO! You could have gotten her back if they'd beaten him!
One Strip! One Strip! It's okay, lol
Also, I'm starting to get quite concerned with how this stuff is being handled right now. Masamune still feels quite out-of-context, as he takes over KR Chronicle stating that all of this was part of his master plan all along... Even though we're not sure what exactly his intentions are.
And he's so hammy... I guess it runs in the family
... And that's called jazz!Pretty much yeah.
I'm intrigued by what led to Hiro rolling out the backstab, and that little team play with Emu and Neo Kuroto was awesome. MORE SIGNIFICANTLY, I'M SURPRISED THERE WAS ROOM FOR SURPRISE KIRIYA COMEBACK. ...Or, at least, a Kamen Rider Lazer comeback. In a proper humanoid level 2 form? Or using a level 3/4 or Drago Knight Hunter gashat? This wait's gonna kill me.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanHow many lives does he still have, btw?
... And that's called jazz!I think he's at about 96.
Edit: I forgot he lost one in this ep, so 95.

One Strip! One Strip!Scan spoilers: Lazer will use proto versions of some level 3 forms. I think this is kind of a cool way of using the proto-gashats actually. I presumed at first most of them would just be another source of merch.
Episode: Still not decided on whether Cronus is too much of a Diabolus ex Machina but this is a fun watch. I wonder if Gemn's lives will run low enough to actually be a source of tension or if he is just basically immortal now.

Dan is probably going to be killed off for real near the end. You don't introduce that concept early on and not kill him. It's way too much of an obvious thing for someone to say "I'm out of continues" at some point. Also if he's killed by Chronos he'd probably die for real as well.
Indeed. Chronos renders Dan's extra lives useless for the same reason he renders the Bugster's inability to die useless.
If Lazar is really coming back, I'm really curious as to how he's gonna react to Dan being part of the team. I certainly wouldn't blame him for wanting payback.
One Strip! One Strip!I can see this being solved with a The Only One Allowed to Defeat You scenario, seeing as Masamune is the Bigger Bad and Lazer certainly knows that - and that's what he found out before being offed.
... And that's called jazz!
Boy, I really hope this series doesn't end up hemorrhaging coherence like Kabuto did at this point in the show.
