ahhaha! all these posts made my day.

An old friend on facebook found a status i thought i deleted that mentioned i confessed to someone that i was a satanist. i tried to educate him when he said that no one would be surpised (he knew me only when i was still a christian) and that was why i started this topic, cuase he said no one would be suprised, I assume because of my musical choices.

anyway, he said that it was dangerous and demented. i think 6 months in i would of been killed and my body found all around my house if there was any truth to it. When i think more about it, it's actually hilarious to see how freaked out some people get over some music or hearing things they think are satanic. its even more hilarious when they hear im a satanist. its like they think i can snap my fingers and their heads will explode into gore. too bad other religions can't do that. lol.

i love America...

Top comment: "Jimmy has mentioned multiple times in his interviews that he does infact serve the dark lord satan because the dark side gave him cookies."

I think part of the issue is ignorance, the Hollywood Satanism trope, and just demonization.

I thought it was common knowledge since the 70s that if you play Stairway to Heaven backwards it summons demons.

no one will notice that I changed this

No, I think first you have to sacrifice a goat to a golden cow idol while eating baby stew and praising Black Sabbath for how they helped satan lure people away from god by killing random people before the demons start showing up.

Or so I've been told.

I should be finding this offensive but the more and more i hear of it the more hilarious it gets because of how ridiculous the idea is that music has satanist messages that will make your kids kill people. instead of you know, getting a good job so that they keep buying every single new album that comes out. a dead customer base isn't a very profitable one.

Oh goodness, I had a math teacher that was one of those people who thought that Hannah Montana's music was devil music. God help you if you ever mention a metal band as one of your favorite bands. For me, I liked Maximum the Hormone and she gave me hell for it, even if the lyrics weren't even in English. Also, didn't help that I draw people with ram horns in class.

i saw a video claiming a bunch of nonsense about satanism in teh music industry. its so messed up, it thinks that wiccan and satanism is the same thing and that satanists sacrifice themselves in blood rituals to please satan.

Satan doesn't need our blood! Now I don't find it amusing anymore. My religion is getting accused of killing people again.

Also, I heard this is a song, don't know though so don't go chanting it, Lucifer might visit you otherwise lol.

It says at the bottom that "Cradle of Filth" is the track, and that you can buy the MP 3, so I Dk lol. just don't go chanting it just incase lol. Cause if its a real one you might find yourself flipping out later. (thats the most that can ever happen when you do that stuff unprotected really, it makes you go bonkers for a while. i speak from experience)

Cradle of Filth are a metal band. They're also reportedly one of the shittiest bands to ever grace this Earth.

Outside of Black Metal, nobody in music worships Satan.

Well, Marlyn Manson is a Satanic Priest, but other than that, that's about it.

The Church of Satan do not actually believe in Satan.

It's essentially a mock-religion.

I don't know of any band that actually worships the devil, so the Church of Satan is the next closest thing. Doesn't help that many people don't bother to distinguish between them.

Akercocke are Satanists in the Church of Satan sense. They write about that with a big helping of sexual content.

Not very interesting, but at least the music is good.

I still remember when everyone could hear this blasting on my MP 3 before school and they commented later in class that they thought it was death metal.

Many apostolics thought then that i listened and was listening to Death metal all the time.

This was the song. "Given Up" by Linkin Park.

[[youtube:0xyxtzD54rM&ob=av3e]]

Then I told them that THIS (Dying Fetus) was death metal, but I didn't play it...
