Uhh...Blue Boy Pink Girl is also at the Trope Repair Shop for the same reason. I suggest we stick with one thread before deciding which one is the bad snowclone.
Except that one's about if Girls in Pink is wide-spread enough to warrant a split, nothing to do with renaming and snowclones.
Absolutely agree this is a horrible name not in the least descriptive. Masculine Girl And Feminine Boy or Tomboy and Sensitive Man?

SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)I think either of Noir's suggestions would be better than the current title.
Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy seems like a better name.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.Bumpeth?
No need to resolve whatever issues there are with Pink Girl, Blue Boy before addressing this trope. That trope is clearly about the colors, while this trope is more about abstract "gender roles."
Jet-a-Reeno!The problem with Tomboy And Girly Man is that when I tried YKKTW'ing the trope Girly Boy, I some flack for the title, so Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy is the way to go.
I'd say Tomboy And Girly Guy, for the similarity in name to Tomboy and Girly Girl. Also, "guy" is less specific than "man" as it doesn't require implying that he's grown up.

"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.I like Masculine Girl Feminine Guy. Tomboy And Girly Guy seems snowcloney for the sake of snowcloniness.
Jet-a-Reeno!Is there missue? Just disliking a name is not a reason to change it.
Pink Boy, Blue Girl seems perfectly understandable and straightforward to me. If we really need a rename I'd go with Tomboy And Girly Guy. Or if "girly" is potentially offensive there, we could combine it with Sensitive Guy and Manly Man for Tomboy And Sensitive Guy.
I was actually thinking about this trope earlier on. I do like the trope itself, since it focuses on an issue that's near and dear to my heart - but I agree that the trope name may not be the best, since it's not a completed inverse of Pink Girl, Blue Boy. I'm in favour of calling it Tomboy And Sensitive Guy, as a way of combining the Girly Girl And Tomboy and Manly Man and Sensitive Guy tropes. Unfortunately, "girly" doesn't work - since it's still seen as offensive for a male to be considered that, while "tomboy" is no longer seen as offensive as it once was.

Gender Bender Couple almost works, but it uses the real-world definition of "gender bender" rather than the fictional-world one, and the fictional-world one is definitely going to come to mind first around here.
I'm suggesting it anyway based solely on not having anything better.
she her hers hOI!!! i'm tempeGender Flipped Roles isn't TOO bad, as it actually *is* kinda-sorta related to Gender Flip, but there's still a lot of potential for confusion, I fear. Gender Flip and this trope are both about "gender flipped roles," but Gender Flip's about roles in the literal sense of a character played by an actor, while this trope's about "roles" in the broader sense, like "the role of a husband is to be the family breadwinner," that sort of thing.
Jet-a-Reeno!Ugghh... there's even misuse on the page itself. As for the title, Inverted Gender Roles might work, but I do think an "X Girl, Y Boy" sort of title would be best to emphasise this is just about a pair of characters, not a couple(Manly Girl And Girly Man?).
EDIT: Clearen (most of?)the misuse up.

Tomboy and Girly Man? (Counterpart to Tomboy and Girly Girl)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Anything applying the word, "girly," to males is unlikely to work in this broad a context, thanks to the negative connotations the word carries.
Possibly Flipped Gender Duo? Maintains the link to Gender Flip, makes it clear that it's referring to a pair of characters, and lacks the connotations I objected to above.
makes me think the actual genders are flipped not the roles.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong. How about simply Feminine Guy Masculine Girl?
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdThat one seems pretty good.

Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?
So we have a trope called Blue Boy, Pink Girl, which the habit for boys to be dressed in Blue, and girls to be dressed in pink.
So with that in mind, you see Pink Boy, Blue Girl. You'd think it'd be as simple as the inverse of the trope: Boys dressed in Pink, and Girls dressed in Blue.
But no, the actual trope is broader than that, it's simply masculine girls and feminine boys, it has nothing to do with color schemes, which is what the trope it's snowcloned from is abut.
