His quotes, along with his really weird and distinct appearance plus moveset are reasons why I like him and I have almost never even touched comic books in the first place! It's a shame I have to pay to use this guy in the first place, though.

You probably wouldn't gain much insight into Shuma from reading the comics unless you searched very well for it. Shuma's by far the most obscure character in the game. The most notable extensive thing he's done in the past fifty years is be in this series.

I thought it was less that and more Capcom Japan specifically lobbied for Shuma to be in.

What was Shuma even doing in the 90s that led to him being in Marvel Super Heroes, anyway?

Read the example for Executive Meddling for Marvel Vs Capcom 3. Marvel is the reason he was DLC; they didn't even want him in, in the first place.

Correction: Shuma really wasn't doing anything in the 90s. Capcom Japan saw him and thought he'd be a great contrast to a bunch of guys and gals in tights, leather, and spandex. Three guesses why. But like Known said, you didn't hear it from me.

Part of it was just contrast alone. A giant tentacle monster really stands out and looks intriguing from a bunch of dudes and gals in tights even discounting the implications associated with Japan and tentacle monsters.

It's been a while since I've played... I really want to learn how to play Wesker (and when I mean play, I mean play on point, not lulzxfactorglasses MMHS. I think it's his voice; DC Douglas has such a great voice. :D

I also want to learn how to play She-Hulk. I don't care if she's bad, she looks fun.
