How do you activate that? Because I keep running into issues trying to get into this game because I run out of things to do and have to wait until the next day for things to happen and I desperately want to get into this game but the constant stopping is killing me.

That involves a cheat device. Although, going to the island from 7 PM to 7 AM can get you a lot of beetles that are worth a ton.

Boo. Stupid tarantulas. They're one of the bugs that I'm too afraid to catch. :(

I may try to go for them. If I was able to catch a bee, I should be able to catch a tarantula.

The other important matter is catching an arowana. The arowana was one of the only fish I missed last summer (probably the only), and I intend to catch one soon. I think I had one evade me this morning, but I'm not giving up yet.

So I was playing my game, and I decided I'd take a fancy for bees.

I found a beehive in my second tree. And wouldn't you know it, I caught that very bee.

That will save me some time getting the bug exhibit filled later on.

Nintendo Minute is has two QR codes.

One is a Lo Rule T-Shirt and the other is Yuga's Dress.

It's been a long wait, but I finally have my first blue rose! Huzzah!

Should I feel bad that I tend to put this game down for extended periods, then revert my 3DS clock to when I left and play through several days in bursts?

I do that often. I haven't played in over a week, but will probably pick it and do just that this afternoon.

Switched my ordinance from Early Bird to Beautiful Town. First time I've changed it. I don't play anywhere near as much as I used to, so I figure it'd be good to not have to worry about my flowers.

I try to play every single day, because I'm too afraid of some of my villagers moving out. I'm also trying for a 365 day streak. I got the game on my birthday last year and was trying then, but I accidentally missed a day, so I had to start over. If I play every day until July 12th, I'll complete my challenge.

I think being the mayor of a town has created a good reason to play daily. If I don't play at least once a day, I'd feel bad about neglecting my town.

Well, that's why I reset the clock.

I don't time travel, though- Time in Margrove flows normally and in one direction, it just doesn't do so until the Mayor wakes up.

I do that and minor time travel. Mostly when I am too impatient to wait for something (house upgrades, PWPs). There was also that time someone I know had a really good turnip price, so I set my town to the nearest Sunday and quickly became a millionaire.

Another summer solstice, another creepy sun at night, and yet another swagtastic pair of ladder shades. Good times!

Also it's nice how they have Isabelle out by the town hall since the Bug Off is happening today.

I got the Ladder Shades again though I prefer my Steampunk Glasses.

Yesterday was 1 year since I created my town. Animal Crossing: New Leaf was also the first game I ever played every day for a whole year.

I'm happy that I was still able to find Isabelle yesterday. I wanted those ladder shades so bad and I worried that the Bug Off would cause her not to be outside.

Kabuki beat me by 7 points yesterday. I nearly raged when I found this out. Damn cat.

K.K. also sung K.K. Birthday to me yesterday. It was so cute!

The new DLC post office gift is a Cancer Table, a one space round table held up by a crab.

You know, with a name like Cancer Table I was really thinking of something else.

I keep the Beautiful Town Ordinance on specifically to insure my town doesn't goo to shit while I'm not playing.
