This looks like its made of win.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. And the Eldritch Abomination is already in the trailer. Good sign!
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~Madrugada^Huh? o-o I only saw some wizard guy with skull for head, but that doesn't seem Eldritch like before shifting into such form as final boss xD
Whoa, interesting. I'd buy it.
Poor Whispy needs a break.
Kekekekekekekekekirby?
"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."I hope not. Having an evolution interval instead of instant transformation would make the game unbelievably difficult.
OK, who else read the title as "Kirby Mass Effect"?

Maybe this will be one of the few times woods is actually hard...or at least has a more difficult rematch or look alike?
Modified Ura-nage, Torture Rack: Well, I will now.
: "Maybe the wood will be hard now?" 3/10, try again.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI just waiting for someone to hack the game so they can bring out 100 Kirbys at once.
GOH! JII! RAH!This Youtube channel has lots of Kirby Mass Attack footage: [1]
The minigames have nods to the anime, Dreamland 2, Super Star, and Adventure. There's even a nod to the Kirby Gamecube game before it was retooled into Kirby Wii, and Lololo and Lalala's appearance even has refs to Adventures Of Lolo.

On other hands, I dislike anime references, but on the other part, I love updated sprite for dark matter :3
The idea of an army of Kirbys charging down eating everything in their path is absolutely horrifying. Game looks great.
Looks like gold to me. Why does the skull sorcerer remind me of Nightmare from Kirby's Dream Land?
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadThe demo is up on the Nintendo Channel. I played it. Surprisingly fun.
I think this supports more than ever the theory that Kirby is a rampaging Cosmic Horror. I feel bad for everything in those lil' guys' way. 8(
But does this mean no transformations...?
The day I got a pony.He can't be a cosmic horror any sense of the phrase.
He's not the entity because we know how he works, size, shape and his limits, though the later does change he can't take on the series higher beings without an Eleventh Hour Super Power and he can still be defeated by mundane means if he's careless. Dark Matter and Nova are the cosmic horrors in the physical sense. If Kirby took on a form like there's he'd be one, but then it wouldn't be a platform game anymore.
He isn't in a horror game so he's not one in the other sense either. If we watched through the eyes of a few Waddle Dee struggling to stay alive as Kirby stalked, spending most of the time out of their view appearing only to eat them and vanish. If they had no help but each other while being pursued by in a confined area...then it'd be a Cosmic Horror Story. I could totally see Kirby as a cuter Alien.
Then Kirby Mass Attack would be Aliens where instead of Waddle Dee we have five Giant Mooks but now there are more Kirbys so they are just as helpless as the ones before them. In keeping with the Aliens parallel this is where Kirby's copy powers are made known.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackAnyway... the Kirby Mass Attack demo was pretty fun. It plays like a weird hybrid of Kirby Squeak Squad and Kirby Canvas Curse, something I don't mind at all.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Seems like the final boss is just as eldritch abomination-ey as ever.
That's not surprising, given the presence of guys like Nightmare, Dark Matter/0, Marx, Dark Mind, Drawcia, Dark Nebula...
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadWhy isnt this on the 3ds >_>
Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them.Because it's Kirby tradition to release one game near the end of a system's life span~.
There will most definitely be a Kirby for the 3DS. Just not anytime soon.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The Mad
A new Kirby game for the DS, where it appears that Kirby has learned the Shadow Clone Jutsu.
And apparently the box art has American Kirby on it already.
