So the producer for Next Order's localization gave an interview. I think the most interesting thing about it was the glimpse into the way business is conducted; i mean really bandai asia translates from japanese to english and then to chinese rather than directly?
That and i'm not entirely sure if he's trying to deflect blame over the vita release being planned or not but I do believe him when he says he was only ever responsible for the PS 4 version.
At least the localization seems to be going well.

Caught episode 2.
If it wasn't clear just from little things like the main character having an non Tai / Dai based name, then it becomes really clear now that Applimon is gonna be different.
Just the tone alone is different from the previous series, even when they had their silly moments.
It's also probably the only series when characters blatantly have abnormal hair colours (we've had the blue haired Jyou and Kenta, but I always imagined they were meant to be more black, and the blue was just to make them stand out somewhat), but this series, we have the green haired Haru (the main character), the blue haired Watson (and a very blatant blue, unlike the two previous named characters), and .....I don't know the name of the pink haired girl yet.
Anyway, in regards to today's ep, the birth of Do-Gatchmon probably came about from the compatibility between Gatchmon and Navimon. Both are about finding things—where you want to go, and what you want to know respectively—so their combination making a new Digimon isn't such a shock to me. We'll see what he's capable of next week.
One Strip! One Strip!Cameramon is the best character.
Watched the first two episodes of Appmon and I'm really liking it so far. Haru feels distinct from the other characters and I like a lot of the Appmon designs, even if they're a bit direct in showing what app they correspond to. It's too early to tell what they're doing with the plot but I like the direction they're taking.
The one negative thing I have to say about the show right now is the constant repetition of the Appmon's name during App link sequences because it's already annoying and I'm going to skip those if they keep playing those.
The comment from Gatchmon about searching for another future is what I'm most intrigued by right now since Haru mentioned Leviathan taking over by 2045. I think they're setting up a Set Right What Once Went Wrong Plot and I'm curious to see where that goes.
I just found a picture that's very sweet. :) And also hilarious. XD
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Davis / Daisuke doing a Big "NO!" would have been funnier.
Nonetheless, it does make me chuckle.
One Strip! One Strip!I don't get it. ^_^;;
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. No Rob... Davis's proper response is
This image makes me think how funny it is this see Tri. is go in on the T Kx Kari shipping and not have Davis here to complain about.
35 year old white man.Tri. lack of caring of Davis/02 in general is kinda weird to think about considering it was only getting hate years after it ended and possibly only from the Western Fandom.
35 year old white man.He was taken out because they wanted to focus on the Adventure crew because of the anniversary
There's no hate or ulterior motives involved, it's just a creative/business decision
You're right but they're probably better ways to handle the 02 kids. XD
35 year old white man.I never said it wasn't being handled stupidly :p
Better quality of ''Loss'' poster, and along with Taichi, Sora, Yamato, Machinedramon, and Pheonixmon, there's another digimon on Pheonixmon's back. It appears to be a digimon named Tapirmon, or another digimon that looks like it.

Somebody on another website pointed out that the roadsign on the Loss poster is the same sign seen back in the Adventure episode with the Birdramon evolution
35 year old white man.So it seems that Appmon has its answer to Numemon. If two Appmon aren't working together when you try to fuse them, you get Sukashimon, a useless-looking ghost thing, instead.
This episode puts a whole new meaning to "unequipped" rpg characters.
Prediction for Tribellion Story: Eclipse.
Matt: Sora! I love you!
Tai: Sora! I love you too!
Sora: Matt... Tai... I love Emilia.
Watched episode three of Applimon.
Man, I keep saying this, but the feel is so different from any digimon series. It's not just the lack of the term digimon, or the way they fuse.
Everything about it feels different. It's so weird.
One Strip! One Strip!Catched up to the 3rd episode of Appmon
The RPG antics were pretty funny and also, the whole thing with Sukashimon reminds me of the fusion accidents from Megami Tensei.

"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.So... What is actually similar about Applimon to Digimon? Any mechanics? Or is this just another A Boy and His X partner mons series by the same people who made Digimon?
The sad, REAL American dichotomy
I think you would be surprised at what some people would do when following instructions from stuff like GPS, these things are not as perfect as some people think it is. I think this episode was kind of poking fun at this kind of thing, that incident with the dog made me think of someone playing Pokemon Go being careless.
